I have a problem with my KWA mp7. When I adjust the hop up to where it shoots perfectly straight, after a couple of shots, it goes down by itself. Some people said lube could've gotten onto the hopup bucking. What should I do to fix this problem. I don't know how to clean or disassemble it. Please help

Williamm, I created a new thread for your post. Please do not post on dead or inactive threads. That is known as "necroing" and is generally frowned on. Also, please take the time to read our forum guidelines. In the future, please be sure to search before posting a question. We are more than willing to help you out, but there are a lot of resources available to help you find an answer. For example, I found these KWA MP7 disassembly videos after Googling for literally 10 seconds: Link 1Link 2Link 3Excess lube can cause the buckings in KWA MP7s to swell up. This usually causes mis-feeds. i.e. it will fire one or two shots fine, but then jam, and then fire fine and then jam. You may need to clarify if you're having jamming issues or if your hop-up unit just isn't working properly.

That screw on the adjustment wheel always likes to loosen up as you shoot on some of the hop-ups. Then the actual wheel will back off and change your hop-up as you play. (I'm assuming this looks like the hop-up you have in your gun.) Anywho, locate that screw and thread lock it into place. ie. remove the screw and use loctite 242 blue thread locker on the screw threads themselves. Put the screw back in and tighten it enough that the little wheel won't spin without some moderate force. Don't over tighten it as you can strip the threads. This will apply enough pressure to the wheel where it won't change position as you play.

I would suggest breaking the gun down and examining the hop up, and see if all of the screws are tight and if any of the small parts are broken. Sent from my SCH-I535 using proboards
