Oh really? Whenever I tried clipping on to the front I found them too short and it restricted movement, if you've seen the Aerial Platform DvD (I known it's magpul and not exactly gospel) they run then if the rear to help leaning out helo doors. I see what your saying with it being a PITA to get back once you've fallen out but i would of thought spinning/flipping over (which would occur if attached to the front) would cause more issues?

Those have QD points on each end, or a carabiner on the other. That end attached to the rear would go go to whatever they're trying to stay attached to. QD end stays on your front so you can quickly release if needed. Here's a quick photo where you can see both ends. I think the VBSS photos of the guys in AOR1, one wearing an OD MBSS shows it too. If hanging from the front there would be no spinning/flipping, you'd just climb back in. I wore it wrong for a long time as well.

Looks awesome! I like the simple and fast set up you have. How do you like wearing that ear pro? Personally I would run a mic. with an ear piece, but that's just my personal opinion.

Thanks guys. I've got a few things left to do with the 416 (mainly trade it), and a few other random odds and ends to buy. As for the earpro, I am in love with the Comtacs. Its hard to explain, but I can say they are worth it. As for a helmet, I'm borrowing one to use at TOP, but aside from that, I hate helmets with a burning passion. Not only do they fit and look weird on me, I have never had an instance where I can say "Damn, I wish I had a helmet right now"!

What's the use of having both white paint and green jute on the gun? One or the other will give you away in either winter or summer. Also, I'd say ditch the gas mask and invest in some bolle's or some ESS or something. But whatever works for you, I guess.

the white is birch and blends in with the fallen birch where i play, the gas mask has wire mesh from a face mask i cut into the eye holes and voice box

Yeah please do tell; where'd you get the gorka, pmk, and eger? Is it someplace besides eBay, and if so can I tap into it? Either way that's some pretty sweet gear man.
