This is my second r-hop installation, on a PDI 6.04 - the first was on a Modify Hybrid 6.01 The first r-hop install is also unfinished, but currently can test-send .30's 180ft measured @356fps w/.20's. In my opinion, though, the Modify can get 200ft or better. But I also feel that a 6.01TB will come into play after a certain distance. The 6.01 is for CQB anyways, primarily for the Airhouse's courtyard (I love that place). But I'm looking for a second opinion on this particular IR-hop install before I put any rounds through it. I personally think the cutting and filing I did could have been cleaner. The leading and trailing channel edges have been given a radius.

As of now, the 6.04 can shoot .30s 200ft.
Too windy to get an assessment on absolute accuracy. Though, @200ft, I did hit a 6"x8" abandoned birdhouse on a telephone pole, more than once. With hop applied, without much effort.
This [could] be a successful 2nd r-hop installation.
*the Matrix chrono is a P.O.S., still says average of 356fps, that's what it was with the Modify 6.01

I'm still working on tuning my first Rhop so I am no expert but that looks pretty clean on the outside. However, the inside is what really matters and it is going to be tough to get any kind of decent picture of that so I don't think there is much else that anyone can tell you. There isn't really a right or wrong as long as it shoots better than it did before and you are happy with it. 200' sounds pretty good for a gun of that fps if you are talking about a completely flat trajectory. Mine shoots almost the exact same fps but I'm hoping to be able to hit around 225' accurately with a slight holdover once I finish tuning. I just got some bioshot .32s that I'm dying to try out but I just haven't had the time lately.

Inside is clean. No burrs, no residue.
On the second install, I did the easy install method; putting the installation aid dowel in the inner barrel first and then attaching the cut patch to the window and sealing it with 100% silicone caulk. The sanded the top of the patch (also making sure the leading and trailing edges were radiused before gluing). Seems like this type of "easy" install needs to be broken in a little, as it seems to slowly get better with each shot.

I'm assuming that was with the z kit or did you sand the channel? I have one of the original style kits and it is still overhopping .25s so I need to keep sanding but so far the results are quite impressive considering that I am using a stock brass barrel that I simply polished with a cleaning rod with metal polish on a drill. I'm thinking the .32s will really bring out it's potential though. What brand of .30s are you using?

Using the three blue patch kit that are of the same cut, not the three patch kit that has "one that might fit", ha ha.
I actually had some jams, but turns out my patch was misaligned with the Mnub putting uneven pressure on the patch. I think those jams kind of hurt my piston, but I haven't opened up the GB to take a look yet to be sure.
Realigned the inner; no more jams, and back to 150ft+ shots. But the last bit of testing had to be done in the dark last night, so I have to wait until later this morning to see what's up when I can see the BB's trajectory.
I may have to try a regular rhop later this summer. Debating on whether or not to ER-hop my TM VSR-10's PDI hop chamber.
