I'm not trying to be confrontational in any way, but I think my point still stands that economically it doesn't make sense to buy Condor gear. If you already have it then so be it, it isn't worth selling since you will be practically giving it away, but in the future it would be smart to avoid it for the reasons I've already stated. I just can't wrap my head around why people continue to recommend Condor.

Man, if you want good prices on gear, the Commerce thread is your friend. Atleast once a week you will see a good price on a decent carrier, and they usually have pouches with them.

Ok so condor is starting to seem less worth it. They seem to be like the CYMA of tactical gear, its not incredibly bad, but it sucks compared to other brands. I'm going to have to look into flyye gear and find an option that will work. Right now I'm on my phone so its not ideal for weighing my options.

I was just saying that because in the same post you said: Also I will say with chinese replica you really do get low quality stuff. I own Condor stuff and I haven't had an issue with it, but I haven't abused it like I have my Pantac. So far the mayflower has been babied so I can't compare it to the others. I can only say it's subjective perceived quality (aka I have no idea) is high. Jokes aside it is lighter and fits way better than anything else I've tried, but that's mostly due to it being a totally different style than my other vests.

Rust, what kind of body type/size do you have? how tall are you? These are important factors. If you give me something to work with, I can find you a good rig, real-steel on the cheap. For a little bit more than that Junk ROTHCO carrier you can get a Pantac 6094 in Ranger Green (130+FREE Shipping from Ohio.) Buy once. Never buy another rig again. Plus re-sell value is still High (Unlike ACM/ROTHCO Shit gear.) www.airsoftsmith.com/store/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=53&products_id=2986

So I quoted something from X and replied with a whole paragraph (from my phone) and for some reason it only put the first sentence from what I wrote onto it. It was probably just my phone but Ill try to fix it. And my height is about 5'10", and a medium sized plate carrier generally fits, or one that can be sized from large to medium

The JPC's are very expensive. I would pay that much for a new kit but I'm also buying a new gun, so I have to make sacrifices. And either way I prefer the 6094 style plate carriers. I like the sides and the way they velcro together better than the weird ladder side of the JPC. I know a lot of people like the JPCs because they are lighter and faster, but but I prefer the way the 6094s look and feel, not to mention all the real estate

Doesn't HAVE to be real, does it?
If it does, ignore this:
Get a clone!

Ok. Well, if you wanna buy I real one I'll sell you mine for $250. Trying to build a mk18 before March and buy a bunch of bmx shit before it gets nice out. My BFG 10 speed will have to last me another summer. #brokesoftchairsoft Sorry to derail but I think I still have knowledge I can share. I think your best bet Rust is to really sit and budget how much you need to spend, as well as figure out at minimum you will need gear wise, to attend a large scale milsim event. If you think it's in your budget to get a higher end rig then I'd go for it, it's cheaper to but one fancy item then to buy multiple cheap ones that you will not like, sell, and likely lose a lot of cash on when(if) you find a buyer. Higher end stuff always has a better resale value when it comes to gear so if you want something different down the road you will get more of your money back in the long run. If it's not in your budget then just buy what cheap and will carry what you need. When it comes to this stuff it's all personal preference. I personally only go on the field with 5+1 mags but I like to put myself in situations where I got shot. I know the real deal operators don't usually run with 10+ mags all the time but airsoft is a lot different. I've got a few teammates that carry a LOT of mags on them. Is this because they are trigger happy guys who just spray and pray? Usually not But having 12 mags on you can make a big difference when it comes to a short day of airsoft when you don't have to go back to your car an load up on ammo multiple times a day. Shit I know a few guys that have spent 1000's on high end dmr's, polarstars, and fancy sealzors weapons. But still own ACM vests and surplus bdu's. It's airsoft, you get to chose what to make of it for yourself.
