You guys know this is like... Right down the street from civilization... Right? I feel it helps with the immersion... Nah I don't know, my wife's dropping me off in the morning and will only be back at the end of game, and I live 2 hours 35 minutes away, so I'M ON MY OWN. Pack a canvas tent and you can have your own little base

Are we allowed to have solid colored fleeces or coats over our camo as long as they're green or tan depending on which side you've picked? Or should we prepare to have all of that underneath our combat shirt or bdu jacket? Sent from my Torque using proboards Same question I asked. Anyone have an answer to this?

Yeah they said that only the camos that are on the list will be acceptable for gameplay, otherwise you could be mistaken as a roleplayer

Wait, so I can't wear Greek Lizard pants and an OD or black top? Woodland Greek Lizard is very easily identifiable as a green camouflage.

I'm good with that.

I'm lucky if I bring BBs to a game anymore. Yeah I just took out like, 3/4 of the stuff I had no use for, and replaced it with more useful stuff, like BBs, extra hand warmers, etc. My loadout doesn't have much use on it, so I'm still learning it and seeing what's good and what's bad.

Everything that's not water and ammo is pretty useless for a one day OP.

Only exception in my opinion is a first aid kit. That may come in handy if some dude gets a nasty cut in the back of the field.

Wait, so I can't wear Greek Lizard pants and an OD or black top? Woodland Greek Lizard is very easily identifiable as a green camouflage. Yes, I get to use my two favorite GIFs! BDU’s:
I.S.A.F.: AOR1, Desert MARPAT, Desert 3 color, Multicam
OP-FOR: AOR2, Woodland MARPAT, Woodland 3 color
Role-players: Civilian attire.
The reason why the camouflage requirements are so strict is that there have been many previous events where no one can tell which side anyone is associated with. Now, obviously, in a real conflict identifying various forces is often difficult, but for airsoft purposes it just causes headaches and bad tempers when no one can tell who belongs to what team. The approved patterns specifically included DCU and 3-color woodland since they are cheap, easy to get and most folks have at least one of these patterns in a closet somewhere.

Can I throw in my .gif? Keep in mind guys that we have a civilian team. If I see a solid color my instinct is to identify them as civilian. Mosin, you mentioned that we will not be doing bang kills on Facebook. I don't see that in the slides. Can you confirm that here? Also, I ask that it get's mentioned in the briefing.

Noted, it's airsoft, if you're not close enough for a knife, you shoot, if you're too hot to shoot that close, you either get closer to knife, or move back to shoot, there's really no point to a bang kill and it causes arguments. It's winter and it's only airsoft. We have engagement limits for a reason, so it's not hard to target some gear or thick clothing and really saves mods a lot of hassle.

Slide 10 in the handout covers EPW's, which I suppose ties in directly with the bang killing. You can offer it, and if the guy accepts you have option to take him as an EPW (Enemy Prisoner of War), HOWEVER, if the player attempts to pull a fast one and draw on you and manages to shoot you, you lose. That being said, BANG kills do NOT have to be accepted, and I strongly encourage all players from using that word on field. You can expect the early morning briefing to be a longer one than most, as we'll have in depth explanations of the medic rules/respawn system, because it's so different from what is normally done at games. I'm also presently working on a handout for commanders as more or less a "cheat sheet" for proper ways of calling in birds/handling different situations. I suggest you keep it only as a tool, and not a 100% go by, as I want commanders to still be able to make decisions, although this will help when shit hits the fan. We still need a commander for OPFOR, again, worst case I'll jump in on this and take it, but I don't really want to as we're going to be a little lighter on staffing then we have before.

I'm so sick of people using bang kills as a crutch and giving me shit for not accepting them. Sent from my XT1080 using proboards
