Hey guys,
Frye here. I may be moving to the Lansing area in the near future and will be seeking a solid group of milsimers to roll with. I am a seasoned player with solid equipment and skill-set.
What I've Done:
Alumni of 2 John Lu events (RSEI and RSEII)
Veteran of OPP6 (as a rifleman) and Blacksheep@OPP1 (as a SL)
Attended dozens of large regional games and countless (seriously, I lost count at 100) skirmishes/open play/small ops.
Acted as a CO, Plt. Sgt., SL and FTL at dozens of local games.
Former member of 2 nationally recognized teams.
Trained with GMR at ComX (not a fan of how the team looks now... if they are around anymore anyways... memegenerator.net/instance/37202508)
Staff, North Eastern Airsoft Group
Former staff at Citadel Airsoft and Proshop
Staff, OP Lonely Island 2013
Core Competencies:
Communications (Served as RTO for several nationals)
Leadership (Served as a CO, Plt. Sgt., SL, and FTL at dozens of ops throughout New England)
Training (Conducted training for groups and individual players on weapons manipulation, fireteam movement and bounding, gear placement and access, CQB tactics, dynamic vs. soft entry, etc)
Marketing (Served as a marketing and events officer for several teams)
What I am Not:
A gearwhore (While I have extensive knowledge of gear and guns, I am really not a collector)
An asshole (I'm a people person. I love making friends and having fun)
A backyard softer (unless its private property, I shy away from the #stateforestyayletsgoplayairthoftohshitcopsrun crowds)
A chairsofter (I've been in or facilitated in hundreds of games. I've been employed in the industry. I know what's up)
A tech (I've shied away from working on my own guns. Hope up/externals is easy, but I've never mastered gearbox work)
What I Want To Do:
Travel for a national at least once or twice a year (not more than 2, since I will be working full time).
Train on a regular basis. Say once a month.
Attend a few local ops here and there, depending on the quality of the venue.
Equipment I Own:
Several M4 variants
EF 1911, non-tac
Gen 1 Nods (yes, they are crappy)
Want a TW when money allows for one.
I want to find a good group of players that fit me. If I can't find such a group I may start one. If your group needs structure or more working knowledge, let me know. I love passing on resources to new players and teams.
Message me here or ask for my email. Connecting via facebook is cool too.
Thanks,
Frye
