Welcome to MiA. I love seeing people constantly joining this fun and addictive sport. As far as a good reliable rifle goes I'd say look into the G&G combat machine line. There are several variations to choose from and they are incredibly reliable. I myself have two and I love them.

Action Paintball is a great field and its pretty close to you. The staff are friendly and the events hosts (Suicide Kings) do a good job of running things. 13985 Lange St Taylor, MI 48180 goo.gl/maps/oC98Aactionpb.com/Sent from my XT1080 using proboards

I thank both of you for the recommandations, also I'm thinking about gear chioces, I know i need a face mask but should I get a vest of some type? Maybe a plate carrier?

I thank both of you for the recommandations, also I'm thinking about gear chioces, I know i need a face mask but should I get a vest of some type? Maybe a plate carrier? Honestly, if I were you, I would simply pick up a rifle and make sure it has a high-cap magazine (that way you don't have to worry about switching out mags too often for your first game, and you won't need to carry a bunch with you). Then I would go to a local rec game and have a look at what everyone is wearing. See what you think looks cool, then ask them what it is. You can go through many plate carriers, or chest rigs, if you just buy something without seeing it. You could just go with some recommendations that people could give, but it's really better to get what works for you. You will find everyone more than willing to talk about their gear they are wearing. If you catch them before they put their gear on, or during a break, they may even be willing to let you try it on.

Honestly they are right. Drop in the money to get the gun that you want and then pick up a good battery, a good tightbore (if you can pay for it, and 1-2 high caps. That will get you onto the field and view all the gear that is available. Most people like taking about their gear/loadout/impression and you can see and possibly hold or try on their equipment (owner depending obviously).

Welcome to MIA!
First off, Read the stickies. No one's recomended this yet, but they'll be pretty darn helpful, with pretty much everything.
I second Slacker's motion. G&G CM. Love mine.
I also agree with Tank. Skip the gear. It sucks all the money which should be put into more useful stuff. Batteries, TBB, mags (eventual upgrade), and other stuff. Ask me how I know this.
And have fun! Airsoft is an awesome sport.
