CIA intelligence has discovered a plot by a home grown terrorist cell to unleash a “Zombie Virus” known as Draugr on the American population. The virus affects the human nervous system, inducing a rigor mortis like stiffening of the muscles, and creates a ravenous hunger for flesh. Pain receptors are all but turned off, allowing the victim to ignore all physical damage short of severing the brain from the spinal column or the destruction of the brain itself. Pagan, does this mean only headshots are going to count on infected players? If so that seems a little dangerous to me. Tank mentioned that in a previous game we used tin pie plates that hung around a persons chest/back to represent a critical zone to be shot at. I figure you have something besides shooting faces in mind?

I figure you have something besides shooting faces in mind? Everything you quoted is just back story. There will be NO actual zombie at this event. Everyone paid to play, so I don't think it would be fair to make them fight armed players. With that being said, remember you are dealing with someone who has created a super virus, so he may very well have other tricks up his sleeve.

Thanks for clearing that up. Can we put out a comms matrix and enforce a no electronic warfare rule? I can grab the one from NL3/4 so that there's no work involved. I just think it's easier to define which teams get which channels so that both teams don't accidentally choose the same frequency. Personally I'm OK with just trusting people to follow the rules vs having accidental cross talk.
Edit: Also if we have a defined frequency list then the staff don't have to worry about players using their channels.
Edit2: I PM'd you the matrix in case you want to use it.

Everyone on Tan needs to PM me so that I can send you the access info for a private board that I'm about to make. Mainly the Squad Leaders are who I'm looking for, but it would be worthwhile for everyone to take a look.

Everyone who is coming to this game and plans on bringing a regular walkie talkie style radio should please take a look at my video if you haven't seen it. There will be a lot of people here and someone isn't going to setup their radio correctly and your going to piss off everyone else or make your radio unusable. If you have questions regarding your particular radio I'm happy to help. Please post them at the following thread to centralize the info for other people. miairsoft.proboards.com/thread/46204/setup-radio-walkie-talkieEdit: I forgot to mention. For those losers on the green team ( ) you can use the same ICOM programming as Northern Light and your radios will be functional. Just keep in mind that your channel numbers won't line up with the standard Talkabout style numbers. In this case you need to subtract 7 from the standard number to get the ICOM number (AKA: Talkabout 13 = ICOM 6, 14 = 7, etc.). Again this is assuming you are using the Northern Light programming. My beloved Tan teammates you NEED to go to the private board to figure out what our comms are.

So this may seem a dumb question but I shall ask anyway. I got a pair of handheld CB radios, would they have any use here?

CB radios are not compatible with GMRS/FRS radios. They operate on totally different frequencies. CB is on 27MHz and GMRS/FRS is around 460 MHz.
