I just had a quick question, would it be wise to put a 6.01 barrel into your AEG if you are going to use full auto? I was thinking of getting the new angle custom miracle barrel for my M4 but I am worried that the small diameter will cause problems such as double feed and bb's colliding. Any info would be much appreciated!

It shouldn't be a problem if you are using high quality bbs. I run a 6.01 and never had any problems on full or semi.

6.03 is the tightest barrel the majority recommend as some times dirt and other particles could cause jams or other issues

It's been said numerous times that quality and consistency of the inner bore has more to do with accuracy than inner diameter. In fact some people think that a little bit wider barrel will actually give better accuracy than a 6.01 but there really isn't any practical way to prove it scientifically. The prommy EG 6.03 or PDI stainless 6.05 are probably the two best all around barrels on the market now.

They also have them new Miracle Barrels, but not sure if anyone here has any experiences with them.

the miracle barrels are actually a really smart idea/concept. From GI's testing, the M4 barrel outranged a madbull 509mm by nearly 20 YARDS. ( i believe that's correct, will rewatch to confirm). I'd say go with what you know works, but i think my next barrel will be a miracle barrel.

I hadn't heard of these "miracle" barrels before so I had to look it up. I looked at the pictures GI has and pretty much right away noticed the horrible chatter marks near the end. If you aren't familiar with machining terms, "Machining vibrations, also called chatter, correspond to the relative movement between the workpiece and the cutting tool." If you have chatter marks, it's not perfect. The rest of the machining looks decent which leads me to believe the same person who machined the barrel did not machine the "miracle" part. I wouldn't waste my money on one. The part in the second GI video where Tim said something like "you need precision bb's to go with a precision tool like the miracle barrel" made me laugh. If you want a good barrel for not a ton of money, go Prometheus EG 6.03. They are machined very well, have a very consistent bore, and have a good deep crown with a sharp edge. Accuracy is expensive.

I have heard nothing to suggest that the miracle barrels live up to the name. I've heard quite the contrary as a matter of fact. I guess the idea has been thrown around for several years now on forums, as well as being experimented with in Japan. Supposedly the concept is well founded but the execution is just very poor.

That rarely happens in airsoft. The only stuff you ever get is promotional stuff from companies like asgi, evike, etc. who will do anything to sell something.
Another thing to note is there is never any free lunch when it comes to tech stuff. All of these comercially available drop in parts that are supposed to miraculously improve performance never work. They are almost always dreamed up by some company trying to capitalize on a pre existing concept by making it drop in so that "everyone" can get good performance.

Maybe when I get some cash, then I will try and do some comparison tests. I have been thinking of doing a YouTube channel like that but so have a lot of others and they just can't get many products.
