If this is Tippmann it would be great. If their airsoft guns are going to be anything like their paintball markers, they should be great. Tippmann is known for making some of the most reliable markers.

Thanks for reminding me, just another reason not to get that one. Honestly I have to say though that I do quite admire the ruggedness and lack of gimmicks on guns like the tippman 98 and I do think that having a big name US paintball manufacturer getting behind airsoft could quite possibly be a very positive thing for the airsoft community. If they are willing to listen to input from airsofters and produce high quality replicas that are known for durability then I think they will do well. Aside from the guns themselves, having support from a paintball company will help to make airsoft a little more mainstream, which means more support for local fields and stores. I didn't mean to sound too negative in my last post, I'm just not one to jump the gun and get all excited about something new. Oh no I totally understand. I will not be buying one either since I have a P* but I'm happy to see an "entry level" HPA system coming to life. I do believe that they have good intentions with this, they were constantly writing down the opinions of the players there and I talked with them for about an hour and a half on paintball vs. airsoft, customization, ergonomics, form and function. I'm excited to see what changes they make to the platform.
