Hey, guys I use to play (Spring) airsoft in my yard with a few friends. But, I'm actually of thinking about dropping a few hundred on a good gas/electric gun. I just don't know if theres a lot of spots that have airsoft or whatnot. I def don't wanna get out classes by my 340fps 1911 Spring pistol (Plus the BB's seem to always fly up at around 15 feet making it very inaccurate. But, I live in Mount Pleasant. Was wondering if anyone can give me insight on places close or anyone who plays in mount pleasant to kinda tell me what type of airsoft you play and were at. I'm 5.6-5.7 Little heavy weighted. 23 years old. So, just post back and let me know. Thanks!

To be honest, there really aren't many Airsoft places in Mount Pleasent YET. However, as I recently discovered ther is about 5-10 people who live around you, and that's ussually enough for rec games. I'm going to refer you to the MAP project in the Airsoft Discussion part of our forum, it's a great resource to see who's around you. It also shows fields and some other info. Man, kinda sucks there about 45m-1h30m away. That really sucks. But, I also don't have any guns besides my pistol which like I said in the OP. So, if anyone knows of any good guns around the 100-250ish range. I would like to get one. I just don't know what to really get. I got skype if anyone wants to go into detail on what to do n such. I def wanna get into airsoft a lot more.

45 minutes actually isn't too far considering on how few and far between teams are in some areas of Michigan.
Many people on here would reccomend you get a G&G Combat Machine AEG as a solid mid-range blaster; I'd agree with them. They come in a variety of models and are in the 200$ range. Also, as a cautionary tale, don't buy a bunch of gear right away. Just get the bare essentials; gun, BBs, batteries, charger, GOOD GOGGLES, good boots, and sets of green and tan camo.
Best of luck!

G&G isn't that bad but my personal preference is G&P. From my personal view (let that be know on the record) it has a far superior gearbox than G&G with a metal body and rear wired, which means its really easy to put a rail on because you will not have to rewire. I'd choose this, it's 250 but saves you time and money down the line. I actually kick myself in the but for not starting with this gun. Oh, and it comes in fg and tan if you prefer that. www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_44_219&products_id=37369
