Just an update on the pics I will be posting on this thread, I forgot to factor in the fourth of july, so it looks like sunday will be the next time I get a chance to take pics, I'll put them up as soon as I get them. Please lets not turn this into another P* vs AEG competition thread. It was my fault for starting, I'll admit, but honestly its like any other debate... Everyone is always going to disagree to one extent or another. However, if someone is willing to start a P* vs. AEG thread that I can vent on please by all means pm me a link!!  |

a few pics posted... I failed on the pic part big time as It took us 7 freaking hours to get the thing back together. First an hour just to get the mag release off, I shimmed it and put it on one turn too tight last time, making it near impossible to get off because we couldn't push it out far enough to turn it. Then another two hours messing with wiring of the mosfet and custom fitting the new trigger so it would be smooth. Three hours of cleaning, shimming, relubing, fixing the sorbo and making sure the AOE was perfect, and then another hour of reassembly and shooting.... It was an entire days work but I believe it should last atleast another 100k. So long as I don't do anything stupid to it. Yes it probably shouldn't have taken that long but we had people playing CQB upstairs to look after and we like to talk |
