Let me begin by saying that devil pm'd me about 2 weeks ago inquiring about the 416D I have in my sale thread. At the time he had asked me for pictures which I supplied (there was also a clear photo of it in my sales thread: ), and bargained with me to drop my price from 250+shipping to $220 picked up. He also asked that I put on my page that the sale was pending its funds (SPF).
Now, I will admit that some of the pictures weren't of the best quality (that's because I had only my iPod to take pictures with: my phone's camera broke), however you could at least tell what trades were on the gun, as well as seeing that it was in pretty good (gun is essentially brand new) condition.
However over the last several days he would pm me for pictures, letting me know that he would like to come to my apartment to pick up the gun, and I complied, giving him my phone number for what I thought would be easier communication. However aside from the first couple messages back and forth, he stopped responding to my question, which was when to expect him, which I don't think was in any way out of line considering that like anyone else, I have a schedule.
A few days went by, and today (6/14/13) Devil texts me to let me know why he wasn't messaging me (late night/midnight shifts at work: which are brutal at times and I sympathize with him a little on that), but also telling me that he's calling off the entire thing. That the pictures did not have "H&K" trades on them (which he could have seen in any of the first several pictures I sent him) which ultimately lowered the value. My response, was simply that he should have seen that, before telling me we had a deal, and that vega force is a particularly expensive brand also, which rivals the H&K trademarked guns about equally in price. His response was only that the deal was off unless I wanted to drop my price further. Something I was not about to do.
Mind, I think when someone tells you that they're going to pay you and that you should be expecting them in the next couple days, to hold up on their end. This is a person who had gotten my hopes up, and then turned around and said no.
I would certainly think twice before I ever do business with him again.
