Hello everyone, I have a KJW m700 and was wondering the possibilities of making the bolt a straight pull for a project I have in my head. For what I have in mind, I will not be able to have a bolt handle.

Explain a little better what you're trying to do. As far as I'm aware it's not possible to do.

I see great difficulty with keeping the bolt in place and not running into double feed issues. Your second issue would most likely be your bolt safety sear. You will also have to modify your stock.
Also, the Remington 700 action, which this gun mimics, was never really designed to be straight pull.

I'm attempting to use the main components to go inside a wa2000 body, so there would be no way to turn the bolt handle.

Well you will probably be the first person to do such a thing. The two platforms are 100% different. Not sure if anybody here could offer you any insight on that.

I plan on making the body from scratch and I believe after looking at the components that if I cut the handle off where it locks it should work.

Well it sounds like a pretty crazy fabrication project. What are you planning on making the body out of? Seems like it would be difficult to get everything lined up right.

I would like to get aluminium but considering the cost I might use wood and steel sheeting as a shell.

I would suggest going to harbor freight and picking up a bench top brake so you can do nice bends in the metal.

That is not a bad idea. I need to go there anyway for parts and equipment.

I have one, and have modified it to my needs and it works well for what it is. As long as you aren't bending anything too thick it works just fine.
Just make sure you use good quality metal. Most of the junk sheet steel they sell at home depot / lowes will crack when you bend it, even with heat applied. The sheet aluminum they sell is alright, but it is way overpriced and almost too thin to be useful for anything.

Does it have to be a KJW M700 (do you have one and want to use it)? The King Arms Blaserr R93 or whatever is a straight pull with no turning.

Well considering I got the kjw in a trade I wouldn't want to go buy a $200 gun just to put however much money into it. It will act as a straight pull with some simple work.
