So, I decided to pick up an item from Cats and we came to a price which was agreeable for both of us. I asked if he'd like to meet up but he said he had shipping covered. About a week went by and still no mail. I pm'd him to ask what it was and he said his courier pigeon had just died. Who even uses a courier pigeon anymore? So naturally I yelled at him for not getting my item to me on time, and amongst the mean pm's, I managed to ask how it died. Apparently he tried to tape a gearbox to the bird and have it fly to me. Shortly after taking off, if fell to it's death and perished.
Seriously?
Then he had to drive the item to my house, where I received it in decent condition, save for scratches from the fall off his roof due to his courier pigeon's general weakness.
Overall, good transaction. I recommend him, just ask him to ship regularly.
