What is it? does it make the gun worse or crappy?

Both. They're the low end KWC guns, which fall short in areas of performance and function. They have fixed hop-up, no functioning controls (slide locks, safeties), low mag capacity, and are not that great looking cosmetically. If you want one to just get a taste of GBB pistols I guess it'd be OK, but don't expect a long lasting, high performing gun. I wouldn't pay anything over $60-80 for one either...

We carry them as a in between step from the basic springer to the full detail Gas blow back. $59
It gets you into semi auto, with the above stated "lite" features (safety switch is located on side of gun as opposed to the slide[m92] ) However the fps has been about 290-310 on most of the guns, so I wouldn't say its light in that area.
Hopup is fixed just like the springer, but is tuned/set for .20s
