AUGs are a lot like AR-15's. They have to be bone stock (with built in scope) or with just the right kind and amount of accessories to look good. ASM's looks horrid, I've never seen an AUG look good with that RIS, however the black one Myers posted is very close to that "perfect" in my eyes.

Yeah, it's possible to screw one up, but only if you're blind, or a complete idiot or... Ah, yes. I see where you'd run into problems then. |

I fail to see any parallels between the AUG and the AR15. They are *almost* complete opposites in their configuration and ability to customize. * They use the same round, but that's where the similarities end. |

Yeah.... I don't even see how it is possible to compare the similarities of an AUG and an AR15. It's like comparing a 4 door family sedan to a high performance sports car...

Not quite, the AUG isn't slower or worse than an AR. Just different. He obviously forgot to mention this particular Vista Cruiser (because 4 door sedan just isn't extreme enough) actually has been reborn with a 800 horsepower powertrain. So their speed is roughly the same.  |

Should've put a comma after my first sentence instead. No, they look nothing alike, but its the sense that a stock AR-15 looks good and a stock AUG looks good. Its pretty easy to make either look bad (example, my KWA in it's current state, and ASM's AUG). It has to be a perfect blend to look right.

AR15/AK = V6 Mustang/ V8 Camaro
AUG = V6 Hyundai Genesis
Both have decent stock performance but the Mustang/Camaro has a bigger after market. Someone who's a real car guy could probably find a thousand holes in that analogy but it sounds close to me. Also ARs and Mustangs are cooler than AKs and Camaros.
