first of all i would like to tell you that we do enjoy having you all out there. We are not putting airsoft aside for paintball. Yes it is our main business but we would like to keep branching into airsoft. I made the call to have my staff run your game Saturday because we need to make sure there is a seamless transition come April 6th when i will have two different types of projectiles flying around on the field. If you guys want longer games that may be accomidated on some days. As for the mask issue that has arose, there has been no determination one way or another yet. Our first and foremost concern is safety. We've been around for 29 years for a reason. We will accomidate everyone paintball and airsoft alike. As for my staff i do realize they came off a bit gruff, This issue has been addressed. We do have "structured chaos" as i put it. I would like to say thank you to the suicide kings for all there help in these games and hopefully for future as well. We will still offer games first Saturday of every month all season long and hopefully into the winter and so on and so forth. We do have an awesome field that i am glad to be apart of, and maybe one day you to. I appretiate feedback because we as a business need that to get better. As for the over priced paint comment, this is and always will be the best paint money can buy for the dollar. Our manufactures actually want us to sell it higher but we don't for the sake of our customers because you guys are ultimately what makes a business go. Airsoft has a permanent spot on our calender of events for 2013. Hopefully we see you ladies and gentleman a lot more this season. O and one last thing as for the private party i had out there, they were a late scheduled party that i did not get the word out for. But i will always accomidate both.

Well that's promising. Hopefully something will be worked out. Me and my team were looking forward to going in April, so if something gets worked out that would be great.

I truly am grateful for the opportunity to play airsoft on your field. If you look through previous event threads, myself and many others have said time and time again that you have the best field in the state.
I hope you took note that not once did I say anything negative about your staff or your field. I simply stated the facts as to what the situation was yesterday, and why the event was so different from what players had experienced in the previous two months.
I'm happy to volunteer my time to organize and run events. I am very proud that the majority of players that come to events that myself and my team host rarely if ever have a bad time or something negative to say. I pay out of pocket for supplies ( bbs, zip ties, chronos) so we can try to be as self sufficient as possible, reducing the demand on field owners.
When I got to the field yesterday, and things had changed pretty drastically from what had been the case in the past two months, I felt like an ass for having promoted the event as the last airsoft only event until November. Please understand from my point of view, I've spent a month promoting the event on here and our facebook page, only to have it end up something completely different when players arrived.
I understand fully that paintball is your bread and butter, and in no way would ever fault you for wanting to make sure that those players are taken care of. You personally have gone out of your way to be polite and very open to airsoft, but I know you aren't the one with final say on such matters.
What really turned me of yesterday was the attitude from the newer ref ( not the gentleman I had worked with last month, and most of the day yesterday) towards our players. Telling some one to "shut the fuck up or I'm going to throw you out of here." is just uncalled for. I can see if someone had started a verbal confrontation, or was breaking a serious safety violation, but for just going to meet up with other players out on the field, it was uncalled for.
I look forward to having a chance to come out and actually get to play at your field.

I will say, it felt great to only to chrono people on Saturday and then get to play the rest of the day. Nothing more satisfying then breaching and clearing Castle Rock twice in a day by yourself and leading the charge in Sin City . As a SK witness to that new ref's attitude toward several players (standing literally 5ft from the coversation) I hope that your talk with him with improve his attitude drastically. I appreciate everything that you and the owners have done to accomodate airsoft on your field.

I asked the ref why we couldn't link up with the other players ALREADY on the field, he told me to lose the attitude or get booted. I told him I didn't pay $20 to wank off in spawn all day and that our mod told us (the group of now 10-15 airsofters) to get ammo and be back in 5 minutes. I'm not one to rabblerouse, just a guy who wants to play airsoft.

First, I would like to thank Pagan and the Suicide Kings, my nephew and I had a blast on Saturday. That was our first time playing with everyone that showed up. It was great to meet some of the players and finally put a face with a name. Thanks also to Hell Survivors, I am glad I got to play on this field and will be back again.
As far as the small group that showed up to play paintball, it wasn’t a big deal. They didn’t seem to be hardcore players and had a lot of good things to say about how we take our sport so seriously.
Regarding that ref situation, it would have been nice if that was more of a private conversation. For a large part of it I was nearly in between the two of them. Since most of the games that I have attended have been at Kalamazoo Airsoft, where a portion of players are either first timers or are 10 to 15 years of age. I wouldn’t want myself, a player or staff member to turn someone away from this sport because of our actions. I know my nephew, and even I, look up to most of you who have been playing much longer than the both of us. Having only played a dozen or so rec games, I even notice younger players watching every move I make and listening to every word I say. I make it a point to deal with situations in the best manner possible, even if I have to pull refs and players to the side to talk after play. Kudos to sharky for keeping a clear head and not escalating it any further.
Nonetheless, it was awesome to play with everyone and I look forward to the next.

I had quite an enjoyable time at Saturday's game. Great group that had attended with little to no drama with the players there.
Despite the private party attending we still were able to play several games on the main field. With games occurring at the Highlands, Sin City, West Point and Castle Rock. And for the first time we played on a new field over at the Masters Field. So I didn't have a problem with that at all.
And aside from the one incident, the other refs working were polite and I had absolutely no issues with.
I also want to thank the field owner of HS coming on here and posting. It shows us that you do care and we really appreciate it. I stand by what I've said about HS being the best field to play airsoft so I'm excited to continue to have the opportunity to play there.
I also do not have an issue with the field refs running the games as long as they are willing to accommodate slightly longer games. Which certainly was the case as one of the refs said they usually let the games run on for like 20 minutes normally. I also felt that these times for the most part were just enough time to keep the rec games going all day. There were a few cases where I wished we had another 5 to 10 minutes but I feel we can generally agree to 20 minutes games since we'll be sharing the field with paintballers and this is how the field normally operates.
