Here's the full album that I took. My camera was having battery problems in the cold so I took all of these on auto and as a result, the auto-focus fucked up more than usual. In any case, the pictures: imgur.com/a/X1vKkYou can download the full resolution on any of those or the entire album if you want directly from the image. Sharky thinks it was a fun day: [edit] Got photoshop happy:

Knief do you have that pic you got of us in front of the village? It was the only group pic I was in.

First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone who came out yesterday.
Secondly, I would like to apologize for how things were run by site staff.
Last month the field manager, mentioned to me that starting in April, their (Hell Survivors) refs would be running the airsoft games. Because of the strict schedules that their paintball games follow , airsoft games were to be shuffled around every 15-20 minuets to accommodate paintball.
I was told that this event was going to be the last one, where we were able to run everything, and have open access to the entire field.
When I arrived yesterday, I was greeting with the information that they had rented the field for a private paintball game, and their refs were going to running things since they were there for paintball.
Had I know any of this, I wouldn't have promoted yesterday's game as the last airsoft only game until November.
I apologize to everyone who came out expecting play time and games similar to the ones we have run the past two months. This was completely out of my control.
We as a team have decided we are no longer going to help out and volunteer our time to the open play games, because other than advertising the event, and chronoing beforehand, there is very little we seem to have any say in.
I encourage anyone who wants to still play the open event games at HS, to do so. It's an awesome field, and $20 for a full day of playing is a great deal. I have no idea what type of games they will be running, other than every 15-20 minuets you will be switched to a new field to accommodate paintball players.
Please also note, that it was brought up to me that they are considering the REQUIREMENT of full paintball mask for all airsoft players, since they will be sharing the field with paintball players. I told them this choice would drastically effect attendance from airsofters. They way it was explained to me, mesh/iron face, shemaghs, and balaclavas were not going to be acceptable forms of face cover for anyone. All players regardless of age, would be required to wear field approved full masks. I don't know for sure if they are going to do this, but it was brought up to me that they are considering it.

Paintball length games, with paintball masks, no thank you.
Almost sounds like they used MiA to get more people interested in the field, then they are giving us the finger. I understand their main purpose is paintball, so I understand the shuffling (which will also make us not willing to go out there), but the masks and booking a paintball party without even mentioning it to us is kind of BS.

I agree with the thought that we were a temporary surplus to their coffers.
In the past three months, we've brought over $3000 in revenue to them, with little to no cost to them.
Oh well, live and learn I guess.

Overall I had a blast Saturday. It's always good to catch up with comrades and to meet new ones! I would like to thank Pagan and anybody else who helped organize the game, your guys' side of things was awesome! I did not sure enjoy how Hells Survivors staff handled nearly everything. The epitome of the staffs' mindset was when the ref yelled "game in 5!....5! GO!" I think that airsoft and paintball are two separate sports and should be officiated as such. I won"t be attending any HS games for quite some time due to the staff. That being said, I still had a great time slinging plastic with everyone on Saturday. That city game after lunch was epic! Look forward to seeing everyone at the next Suicide Kings event!

This is really a shame that they have taken this route. I really enjoy that field. I guess we will just have to wait until after the paintball season is over for a good late fall game.

Well then, let's all blame this on the illuminati.
Hopefully they'll realize that doing that for the airsoft community will just hurt them.

Well then, let's all blame this on the illuminati. Hopefully they'll realize that doing that for the airsoft community will just hurt them. The only problem is that it probably won't. They easily make way more money from paintball because of gun rentals and the fact that you have to use their overpriced paint. If they are worried that by letting airsofters use the field during paintball season it will cut down on their paintball business or something, then it makes sense to limit airsoft games. The fact that they didn't inform the host that paintballers would be on the field at the same time is still just flat out rude and inconsiderate, no matter what their business prospects are.
