Just a quick question: Are the threads on a Mk23 16mm CW or 14mm CW? I was under the impression that it was 16, but i was on the DENtrinity shop site and all the Mk23 accessories stated they were 14mm positive (CW) or would also fit weapons with 14mm CW threads So which is it? (a few pieces here, toward the bottom www.dentrinityshop.com/den_search.jsp?sby=3&sstr=mk23&pg=2&rpp=10 as well as a silencer on the prev. page) I'm about as sharp as a baseball. That's why I used stupid text speak.

they are 14mm. as far as I know all the threads are 14 mm, but dont quote that.

the threads on the Mk. 23 should be 16mm as on the reel steal, as far as the First silencer adaptor goes, what it looks like the description means is that it will function as a 16mm to 14mm CW adaptor for both the Marui and KSC Mk. 23's

hmm, conflicting messages...
well, the muzzle guide (whatever it does) says 14mm and the Mk23 NBB silencer on the prev page says 14mm as well. ive looked at a bunch of other retailers and they jsut say "will fit the mk23"
what does the mesurement mean? is there a way to measure my gun's threads?

try emailing WTS, i know that he has had them in stock, and may still, and hopefully either he'll just know, or can try screwing on a bunch of different silencers to figure it out.

Ive got a TM NBB MK23 kit and the TM spring version, I also have the KSC socom suppreser.
now, the KSC suppressor will fit on the spring version perfectly but it will not on the NBB at all, also the NBB kit silencer will not fit on the spring MK23. this leads me to belive that the threads on the spring are 14mm and the gas NBB is 16mm.
dont qoute me on that but it seems that way from what ive noticed, hope it helps

I'm about as sharp as a baseball. That's why I used stupid text speak. for the info. i was actually looking at getting the NBB silencer to gussy up my springer for a cheap display piece, but if it won't fit, i guess i wont buy it
i think i remember a guy selling a SOCOM silencer for ~$40 and he had both thread type adapters for it, i might look into that further

i can tell you right now that the threads on the Spring are of the 16mm variety. I tried taking my 14mm supressor off of my MP5 when i had it, and it was too small to attach to the spring Mk. 23

I'm about as sharp as a baseball. That's why I used stupid text speak. for the info. i was at a few hardware stores today, tring to find a synthetic nylon plumbing nut that would fit onto the barrel of my springer so i could make a custom flashider for $5 instead of $15 plus HK shipping.
long story short, nothing, no steel, brass, copper, nylon, or any type of tube, connector, flange, etc would fit my gun. (i had the barrel and an hour at home depot, Ace, ACO and Lowe's each)
ok, so then DEN wasnt mistaken when they posted the NBB things at 14mm, i just assumed they'd all be the same, especially from the same company and all

ok, a new twist this guy with the silencers says that they are the NBB ones, but are 16mm. they're cheap, like $40, and nice all metal construction, but i dont know if he's telling the truth or what.... from what you guys say, the NBB and springer arent the same size, which i will be holding as truth (if anyone lied, I'm too lazy to spell a full word out. Please mock me. tell me so i dont get screwed ). im guessing the springer and KSC are 16 from Spectre, and the measurements i took at Ace said 16 metric any one have thoughts/info to further help?

I may very well have been wrong on the exact size (14/16mm) on the guns.
All i do know for sure is that the silencer in the nbb kit will fit on the nbb mk23 and NOT on the spring mk23, likewise the KSC will fit the spring but NOT the nbb Mk23
dont want to confuse anyone, just my experience with what ive got.
