Thought I would try my luck and make a team myself for us Eastern Bloc players.
To be part of this team you must...
-Please be from the Northville/Livonia/Canton/Ypsi area UNLESS you want to drive farther. I am living in Northville right now.
-You must be at least 17. I am 23 years old if that helps. I actually want to play with adults, not kids.
-Have your weapons and gear from whatever country you want to be from, from the years of late 1980s to mid 1990s.
-Totally open to all experience levels.
-For fields to play at, I do have an idea for this one field but I would like to pass it by members before posting it on here. Would like to play against other teams in the area. IF you do have a field we can play at, please tell.
-Would like if you can make it to No Limit games so we can play as a group. Maybe go to Op East Wind in March 2013, do a large car pool or something.
-For a chain of command, I will figure that out after I get some members.
-If enough people join, I will make a Facebook page for us.
Please PM me or post on here if you have any questions or if you want to join.

Any chance you'd allow East Germans as well?

Honestly I can't see this working. I haven't seen any COMBLOC loadouts at Michigan games, ever. I know there are a couple players who do have them - I'm putting together an NVA kit for Eastwind, there's Guts and Glory (a regular in the EW community) near Lansing, I think imperialant's near Grand Rapids with a couple NVA guys (not on MiA often), and maybe a couple others. Not enough to build an actual team.
What we could potentially do is have a loose team, spread across the state, who can coordinate to come to some of the same events in the same kit but aren't geographically focused and don't have regular training.
I'm not too sure on splitting nationalities myself, just was wondering what you thought on it... I suppose a couple Ossies and Ivans could roll together without too much problem. We just really don't have the re-enactment scene up here that you find in other places.
Stolyi is a better name, I like!

@ Auzzie, honestly your best bet is to contact Conscript (Andy) from the team Spetsgruppa Omega and maybe roll with them. They are the only semi-active Eastern Bloc based team in south eastern Michigan. They often attend the REC games at No Limits/Action Paintball. Although it's been a while since I saw them last at the Taylor field.
