I will get this AAR going.
Great job as always SK. Had a good time Saturday. Things kept rolling fairly well. Bogged down a bit at the very end during the capture the flag game. Those games just turned into who wanted to run the fastest. Green had the biggest reserve of energy it seemed. For future reference if you do capture the flag again don't make each team reset after a point, just let everyone keep fighting and relocate the flag. Not a big deal at all though.
Seemed like we had a bunch of new players this time, which is great. However on three separate occasions I had to remind people to put their eye pro on. Even when the game ends, eye pro stays on while on the field. Three different guys, so at least they paid attention to the reminder.
I enjoyed the reverse 300 games more this time. I think the slightly lower turn out helped those particular games. The bomb game seemed pretty good.
Thanks for hosting SK and keeping these games going.

This was my first game of airsoft ever. LOVED IT! Despite trying to cut my thumb off at lunch and missing the 2nd half of the day, I had a really amazing time and cant wait for the next event I can get to. Had a positive K/D ratio, so I felt good about how I did for my first game. Not that a negative one would make it less fun.
Thanks to everyone who organized and reffed and to the owners of the field for letting us play there. I'm already thinking about the hopups I want now that I've seen my gun in real action. (Tight Bore for sure)
Everyone I interacted with was nice and super helpful. I didnt do a good job at putting faces to names, but I'm sure that will happen with time.
P.S. Thanks to everyone who helped me with my injury. Ended up with 5 stitches and the whole experience was not even painful. Ended up with 5 stitches and a tetanus shot.
Cant wait for the next event.

Was real stupid. Trimming the excess off the 'engagement limit' wiretie with a new pocket knife. Was cutting away from myself, but was going to end with a little sharp end on one side, so I was trying to go the other way for the last bit to make it smooth.
The whole time in my head going "Be real careful so it doesnt move when it goes through"
Well it did. Tapped the right side of my left hand thumb with the blade but was SO sharp it just went in like butter. Super clean cut. Didnt hurt at all. Didnt even bleed at first. But I was like 'Damn... I think this is going to require stitches."
Was going to tell folks I would hopefully be back soon and thought about what I could do to prevent a trip to an ER, but 'Brandon?' (I think) is an EMT and was like 'you gotta go to an ER'. He gave me some first aid to stop bleeding and wrapped me up with a bandage from someone else. (Thanks everyone who was helping me)
ER was full of people who where there because they dont have a PCP for health related issues due to their lifestyle of not taking care of themselves, along with other's seeking pain meds, so the whole trip took forever. Deca rode with me and kept me company, which was awesome on his part.
Wasn't crazy deep, but was deep (but not to the point of severe damage or thumb loss).
Annoying thing is if I had my old, slightly duller, pocket knife which I recently lost, I dont think it would have even penetrated, but this new knife is apparently really sharp. All and all there wasnt hardly any pain, just some mess. Missing 1/2 of my first airsoft event will be a nice reminder on how important proper knife usage is, even if you are consciously not doing it for whatever reason.
"ALWAYS cut away from yourself."

Very glad to see that you're alright YoYo-Pete after the cutting incident. I'm sorry that I couldn't find my first aid kit on me that I always carry on myself just in case an accident should occur.
Overall it was certainly a great day. Very great weather, I saw great sportsmanship over all. There was no dry firing in the parking lot or staging area and everyone seemed to be abiding by all the rules and having barrel condoms on their guns. All I can say is thank you guys for doing this! This is why the field owners like having us there and will continue to welcome us there.
The only issues we did have were that three individuals were not wearing full seal goggles. These were however all first timers at No Limits and at least one or two of them we were able to spot before they entered the field or at least game play and remove and make sure they were using full seal goggles after.
Other than that, I actually liked the smaller turnout for once. Made it easier to flank and move about the field without fear of getting shot as soon as you left cover.

I had a great day, and I didn't really see any problems with anyone cheating or not calling their hits.
Btw, there were two people interested in my svd. if you could please pm me, that would be awesome.

Thanks for the kind words.
Yo-Yo Pete, That was Deacon(Brandon) who helped you out. He isn't an EMT yet, but he's in school for it right now. It's nice to have a trained medic on the team :-)
It seems like we get issues in waves. Once we get all the new players trained on how MIA events are run, we get another batch of first timers, who have only played with friends in someone's back yard. It's a learning experience, but we've been able to get a handle on it pretty quickly.
