Man, I had a great day guys, thank you all. Tex, a special hat tip to you and I speak for the rest of us when I say we're gonna miss you. All these games I've been to and I'm glad to finally have been able to get to know you a little. The best of luck with your career.
Firing of 'Big Bertha' was a lot of fun and I hope to get her running more smoothly soon. So was firing my rifle from near our spawn and hitting a guy in c/d village. "DAMN!!" There was at least one instance of a guy talking too much about how I just shot him but, oh well. For the most part, I appreciate everyone's professionalism and their skills. You guys made the game more challenging.
I love the 18+ games because, like I said, it makes it more interesting. Little kids are just too easy to pick off.
I love this field, I love playing with these guys, I loved this day. I'm sure I'll see you all again soon this summer.

Great game. Great People. Great Time.
The first half of the game was a little slower but the second half really picked up. I actually went through all of my magazines and was left with a pistol. After a team kill I decided to call it quits about 2 minutes before the game actually ended. But it was a great game.
Thanks a bunch Tex!
Dingo and the rest of the guys, thanks for being on my team! And good luck at Northern Lights. Mini, good luck!
Good game to the Immortals.

I had a great time, with everyone. The sportsmanship and skill level definitely made this game interesting and fun. The objectives were great, and the firefights were intense. I'll never forget sneaking in to the village through the river. I hope to be able to play back at Bangor again soon. Also, if anyone could let me know where to see the photos for the event, that would be appreciated.

For a small turnout it was one of the most fun and interesting games I have ever played. Both halves of the game were great fun, and very difficult competition. I LOVED defending deadwood, which I noticed is quite impregnable if you have the right angles and cover to defend it. I have to say that the tan team (palisade especially) gave it all they had to take us, and quite a few times got close. The fighting on the northern ridge was freaking intense for the whole second half, and the heartbreak ridge attacks were awesome. i was in the middle of deadwood with bb's flying over my head the whole time. Who needs 50v50 when you have great players and a 15v15. Cheating was nill, and hit calls were well done all day. The game was well done, and the objectives were thought out well. I had a great time, but wished that we could have provided tex with a bigger game for his last one. Tex, I wish you the best. I won't see you again for a while, but if you come back there'll be a spot on immortal for you. Thanks for all the fun games you hosted, and also the ones you commanded against me on. Good luck and god bless.

Blazing heat and small turnout aside, I had a great time. Honestly, any day slingin' plastic is a good day. Like Kaboose said, the first half was slower and the second picked up the pace and made up for the slowness of the first half. Firing of 'Big Bertha' was a lot of fun and I hope to get her running more smoothly soon. So was firing my rifle from near our spawn and hitting a guy in c/d village. "DAMN!!" Shadow, I saw that shot and damn is right. You kept us locked up in the village a few times and I give you props, man. Also, that cannon. Holy shit. I was about 10 ft away from a guy that just got completed showered in bbs. That was awesome and I hope to see it put to use at future events. Tex, congratulations on hosting a great game and on your graduation. I wish you luck on your future. Palisade, as always, I had a blast rolling with you guys. It was great to see you guys again and I look forward to our next op. Have fun at Northern Light. Mini, good luck at basic! Now, let's see those pictures...

I had fun with this one, my misery and goggle/glasses problems not withstanding. I felt like I was finally able to get back to my regular medic duties (10 heals). And it was extra challenging this time, reaching to guys in the creek, through thorn bushes and trying to drag guys out of range (not the right guy for that i'm afraid).
The first half was slower but i'm sure no one was eager to burn up while the sun was still high. Unfortunately i feel like i missed half the game from being blinded and my face crushed. Really ought look into contacts. The question came up twice after handing off the medic duty to someone else if they could turn around and heal me after getting shot immediately after. It was such a funny concept, surely it couldn't be cheating but it seemed dishonest at the time. Sorry I only pulled half my weight there guys, the heat really kicked my ass out there.
TPOT and I had some interesting moments out there around the airfield and trying to get around the north ridge though!
Probably the worst part was actually the drive home, all those damn bugs came out and got into my truck, buzzing all over me and biting me under my shirt, about made me crash several times. Fuggin BUGS!

I feel you on the drive home. I had been awake for about 24 hours and the way home was tough. I actually stopped twice for a quick nap along my 5.5 hour trip back (4 hours travel time). Every turn, I was afraid a cop was going to stop me and notice that a cannon was filing up the back of my...Prius....
Also, I too await someone coming our with some pictures. And do we have a score point and clear winner of objectives and the game?

Had a pretty decent time overall, airsofts always good fun. Enjoyed this event for the most part, although i do think the terrain through the game off a bit . Resulting in less encounters than usaul, slowing gameplay. The only other issue i seen was the switch at the end, where tan was to be pushed back into deadwood defending. Somehow plans changed and put green team there instead with there spawn directly behind them. No complains really, things went smooth. Good time, good times!

Thanks to everyone who showed up and made this a fun game. I didn't have any problems with cheating and enjoyed putting the event on for you guys. It's a shame that more people didn't attend as I had several cool objectives that didn't get to be implemented with the low turn out. But small games are certainly fun and it seems that most people enjoyed themselves quite a bit. The heat was a bit brutal and hopefully the move towards more of the shaded areas of the field helped combat that during the second half of the day. Here are some of the pictures I took during the event: Entire Album can be found here: s60.photobucket.com/albums/h29/cgyarring/BE5/
