You have not pissed me off. I was not trying to say that you did. I just look at all the new posts throughout the day, and I was noticing a trend that everyone was getting butt hurt over your posts. I think the main issue that may be happening here is that people can take some of your comments two ways. They can take it that you are sincerely asking them to please not do something, or that you are actually sorry about something. Or they can take it that you obviously did do something don't give you a hard time about it, or that you just threw in the sorry at the end semi-sarcastically. Obviously they are all taking it the wrong way. I've seen several people come through here, in the short time that I've been a member, that walk in here thinking they own the place and that everyone can go F themselves and their rules. I think that everyone's jack ass barrier is just set high lately, since they are getting tired of the same crap over and over. Welcome to the board and try not to take it too personal.

I'm not pissed either dude. Emotion isn't really portrayed well on the Internet so things can be taken with different meaning. When I replied to this I had already read your other threads and sort of imagined what tone you were conversing in and took your post as entirely more hostile than it really was. After re-reading this thread I realized I over-reacted and took your post too harshly.
My apologies dude.

Tank: Thanks for the heads up at least man. It's good to hear that everyone isn't so hostile here. But no problem man, I understand why you guys would react that way and sorry if I became frustrated. I guess that last one goes to both of you.
Zulu: And yeah, I hear that, I'm always telling people about how it never is. But thank you man for apologizing, didn't need to but I do appreciate it a ton. Even in the other post though, I was typing the same way in same tone; just more straight forward wording.
Also, I'm part German...probably why I don't get sarcasm, or use it o3o. Just for the record.

By nature, I don't get serious too often. I usually like to talk in jest, and like to poke the sleeping lion a lot. Some times I can come off a bit sarcastic I guess, but I try to make it be known that I mean no ill will. I do have a serious side, when needed, but I prefer to have fun whenever possible. I have been known to rub a few people the wrong way, but that is due to their lack of a sense of humor. Their loss.

Same way here man. But I'll never poke a lion, just put down rabid dogs (other thread). Though, I'm honestly a cool guy to be around. Talking through typing is way different then being in person. Thats why I think everyone is better off just talking in person. No harm done man. I'm glad things end up this way.

I didn't know A&K was making an electric SVD until you posted this up. Out of curiosity I did some research. A&K cloned the Real Sword SVD. It uses a very different gear box called the T3 that uses 4 gears instead of the standard 3. I found a quick overview here. I also ran across this Real Sword build. I didn't read it all, but you should be able to copy what he did. I would just start reading Real Sword upgrade guides or posts and just go from there. The common stuff like AOE correction, re shim, re lube, polishing and sealing the cylinder, sealing the bucking, and such should still apply as it's AEG based. With 4 gears you should have a ton of torque so pulling a high fps spring shouldn't be an issue. However, those gears may not be up to the task of pulling the M160 or M170 it's going to take you to get 500+ fps for very long. If you strip one or break one finding replacements might be difficult because they are not standard size. Keep in mind that with the extended cylinder you will need an extra spring step to get the same fps. That means extra stress for the trade off of supporting a longer barrel. It looks like you will have to do most of the research yourself because it's so new. I would start by reading Real Sword guides for the gears/motor/hop up and look into Classic Army/A&K/G&P SR25's for the piston/cylinder/compression system. In the review he said the A&K uses an extended V2 piston which can be found in the mentioned SR-25's. After reading those guides you should know everything you need to about your SVD.

Wow, thanks TheEnd, That all helps a ton. I'll have to look into that. I had no idea they copied real sword either, though it surprises me due to this weapons quality and out-of-box capabilities. I used it stock the other day and it was very poor in ballistics. It shot 360fps roughly and it had a very wide "cone" when shot on semi-auto or full.
Thank's for the info, I'll get started on improving this wreck as soon as I can now that I'm getting a great idea of what to do.
