Just some friendly advice. You don't have to be a part of a team to play airsoft. In fact I would suggest that you just go to some games then after a while decide if you really want to be a part of a team. I played airsoft for about 5 years before I started our team. We didn't have any members that weren't already high school friends until about a month ago. I'd say about half of the guys out there are not a part of a team.

In addition to what X said, you should just start attending games and getting to know players that are on teams. That way you can network and start making acquaintances and then if you play well with others that are on a team you'll have a higher chance of joining a team. Or you might make new friends and join with other players and form your own team. But you don't have to be on a team to play airsoft and have fun. If you are in the Kalamazoo area then look into joining the airsoft of Kalamazoo forum as they have a player base around the Kalamazoo area. michairsoft.proboards.com/index.cgi
