The exact M9 I had. It's a great gun you'll be very happy with it.

Note that the KJW you linked has a relatively unique "Brigadier" slide which is not compatible with some holsters for the M9/92 series of pistols.

Considering you can get a decent one for around $100, I'd say so. I personally own a WE 1911 MEU CQB.

creativity,
This thread is from almost a month ago, which makes it dead. Please don't respond to threads that have been inactive for more than two weeks unless you're adding something absolutely ground breaking. You have three posts here so far and two of them have broken some kind of rule. Please take a bit more time to do some reading and familiarize yourself with how things work around here. Check out the Forum Rules section as well as the rules and various guides stickied at the top of every section. Then just take in how people post. We hold ourselves to higher standards here than many other message boards. You'll have a much better experience here if you make an effort to get into the flow of the boards before you start earning warnings and pissing off the old timers.

I would definitely recommend a sidearm. As you may think it is impractical, sometimes (atleast in CQB) you will want to work your way around those corners better without lowering your gun which leaves you incredibly vulnerable.
As to which pistol to get, some may recommend a cheap clone gbb. BUt if you know you like airsoft, and you won't be quitting anytime soon, work up the money for a kwa or tokyo marui. If you want something a lot cheaper, but reliable, my personal suggestion would be the hfc m92 vertec also known as the m190 special force. It is a clone pistol, and is pretty ugly IMO, with it's gray metallic body. But I have had it for a year and a half, and not had one problem with it. Reliability wise surpasses a WE 1911. Sorry for the long post, but good luck on your sidearm, lots of fun to plink around with.
