IPSC Tournaments will be held for ATS Opening this Saturday March 7th. Registrants please post a reply with your First name and last initial.
Address 11875 Gibson Warren Mi. This place usually tricks gps. Starting from the 696, head south on Hoover, drive a while then take a left on Stephens, then take your first left on Gibson. The building will be the first to your left on Gibson. Go around to the side and enter warehouse.
Bring AS MANY people as you can! We need to get this rolling. The better this first month goes the quicker we can get the shop set up, and the field construction started.
IPSC Contestants 1. Thad M. 2. Jason P. 3. Hunter M. 4. Eric H. 5. Rich Z. 6. Benji L.

Ats, We typically ask that event hosts use the appropriate tag (REC/SCEN/MILSIM) in their thread title to give members an easy reference as they skim through the event section. But durr, we haven't come up with one for non-force on force competitions. I'm going to throw a "COMP" at the beginning of your title. I think that would be an appropriate tag to mark non-force on force competition events in the future. Thanks, and sorry about the oversight. Also, it might be helpful to add more information to your thread. For instance, I don't even see a start and end time or a price. A map is always helpful, as is an itinerary of the day. Since this is the first open event you're running, and it's an uncommon event type anyway, you'll want to layout exactly how your competition format works. How many runs everybody gets, what weapons are needed or suggested, whether you're working in teams or solo, how many courses you'll have set up, what we do with our downtime, how much downtime to expect, lunch options. I mean everything really. The more we know, the more likely we are to sign up. Putting an event date in your title is huge. It lets members know whether or not they can make your game without even having to open the thread. [edit] You list the game date as March 7. It's April.

Also, entry costs. I spotted the part about making this big so you guys can get the shop an field set up, so something tells me this won't be a free event. Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely interested. I'd just like some info first. EDIT: also, after a quick google search of IPSC to avoid asking stupid questions, will this be a rifle, pistol, shotgun or a 3 gun challenge kind of deal? Also- post #300

It is 12PM to 9PM on April 7th $15 entry fee. You can pay an extra $15 for a second, scored re run. $5 for an un-scored re run.

We appreciate you copying that over from the other thread, bobbunny, but it would be more helpful hearing it straight from the horse's mouth, as it were. The event host needs to include these types of parameters in the thread himself, that way if I show up and he wants to charge me $20, my argument doesn't rest on, "but some dude said..."
