I just bought this yesterday and traded in my old gun for some new gear which i`ll be posting all about later today. Now the Elite Force M4 so far has been nice, but i`m already sick of the orange flash hider and want to remove it, it has a ring behind it for a silencer, but I cant get the damn thing to budge and there`s no screw only a metal peg that I cant remove without destroying the flash hider, any ideas?

Dip it in boiling water or use a heat gun. Be careful though it could be a clockwise thread not counter clockwise...I learner that the hard way haha.

If I remember correctly, ARES makes the Elite Force M4's...if that's the case, then if it follows the rest of their models it should have clockwise thread. Pain in the butt to get off regardless, but if you weren't twisting the right way maybe this will make things easier.
