So roughneck dropped me off some Cheepie plastic the other day and this is where I am at so far with making a holster for the usp match.
I don't even have any screws or any thing in it to keep it tight and it won't fall out. So once I get some black screws and fasners in there it should be really nice. I'm kinda cutting it out like my safari land for my kwa 1911.
Let me know what ya think or if you have any wisdom to bestow on a first timer.
Well minus some super cool hardware I got it pretty close to finished.
I still have to trim off the excess but I might keep enought to mount a rail or something on it. Maybe a flashlight rail?
I have to cut down the rail but it looks better trimmed down and with the rail added. At least I think so far.

I canibabized a condor drop leg for the leg straps and a old safari land for the belt strap. I am thinking I might make a plastic belt strap I can put a couple snaps on to secure it and that will maybe where I attach my thumb part to keep it in the holster even better.
And those are the girlfriends baby's I have nothing else to say. Took me a minuet to figure out what you were talking about.

From the looks of it, it looks as if you just molded it with your hands? If you have the time to make a simple press (youtube: kydex press), you won't be dissapointed. The definition it will give to the USP will be much more appealing and will allow for better retention.
Also, IMO, remove the rail. Unless you have a quick-detach system on a flashlight, it won't be practical having to take the time to unmount the flashlight or whatever else you may plan on mounting on it.

I was going to build the whole kydex press but this was a attempt with cheep materials so I just used a couple of towels. The plastic is pretty thick and has very good retention so far. I wore it for a while last night and jumped around and what not and the gun didn't budge.
I just want to add a thumb retention maybe so it looks more professional like. It is a bit much with the rail but I figured since I had the space. And I have seen the rail mounted mag pouches was what I was thinking of using. Like you can get for the black hawk cqc holsters.
