Great job so far, looks great. What did you use for the leg straps and belt strap?

I canibabized a condor drop leg for the leg straps and a old safari land for the belt strap. I am thinking I might make a plastic belt strap I can put a couple snaps on to secure it and that will maybe where I attach my thumb part to keep it in the holster even better.
And those are the girlfriends baby's I have nothing else to say. Took me a minuet to figure out what you were talking about.

From the looks of it, it looks as if you just molded it with your hands? If you have the time to make a simple press (youtube: kydex press), you won't be dissapointed. The definition it will give to the USP will be much more appealing and will allow for better retention.
Also, IMO, remove the rail. Unless you have a quick-detach system on a flashlight, it won't be practical having to take the time to unmount the flashlight or whatever else you may plan on mounting on it.

I second what Legionnaire said. That rail looks strange and not very practical. Other than that though, it came out well.

I was going to build the whole kydex press but this was a attempt with cheep materials so I just used a couple of towels. The plastic is pretty thick and has very good retention so far. I wore it for a while last night and jumped around and what not and the gun didn't budge.
I just want to add a thumb retention maybe so it looks more professional like. It is a bit much with the rail but I figured since I had the space. And I have seen the rail mounted mag pouches was what I was thinking of using. Like you can get for the black hawk cqc holsters.

Looks great so far. I had thought about doing my own beforehand. Now I want to make one for sure. As soon as I get the time.
