So, the look of an integrated suppressor on an M4/M16 is beast. I want to set up my KM4A1 with a long (12") free-float rail system, and have the suppressor go into it, like this. (Except longer, of course) So, I have a few problems I need to figure out. First, I don't need to have the mock gas tube or gas block on the gun, it'll just cost extra for the block. Second, I need to find a good length suppressor and a free-float that has an inner diameter large enough to fit the suppressor underneath, and lastly, I want it to be able to hide at least a standard M4 length barrel, if not a 455. So, my thoughts are using the following items: www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPath=28_142&products_id=30736 (Suppressor) www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=30_37&products_id=3537 (Rail) Does anybody else have any better suggestions? I'm on a fairly tight budget, and I don't want to spend too much on an RIS.

Many suppressors are around 30mm in diameter, and the diameter of the rail is very close to 32mm-33mm which would fit perfectly with just a millimeter on either side.
I also am going to do this, with an 11" barrel, 9" suppressor, and 12" Daniel Defense II Rails.
It may be a bit expensive, but looks dead sexy and will hold my 509mm tightbore with a few millimeters to spare.

At 455mm you're going to be maxing out your cylinder volume if the original AEG had a regular length M4 barrel. Length doesn't really have that much impact on accuracy anyway, so I'd stick to a 363mm barrel. As for your budget, I would try to buy everything on one website such as AirsoftGI. That way you can get their free shipping (with purchases over $100) and use one of their coupon codes to get an additional 10-15% off. That should help somewhat with your budget.

If you do, which I am about to, use the coupon code my friend mentioned to me:
bobvstim
It gets you 15 precent off!

The difference in accuracy from a 363 to a 509 is actually quite noticeable. And it all depends on the type of cylinder he has, odds are, yes he has a type 1, but if he has a type 0. Then I highly recommend the 509.
If your cylinder has no opening on the side(type 0), then you're fine with a 509, but if it has an opening, it'll be a type 1, and just stick with around 400mm.

From a 363 to a 509 yes, but he was looking at a 455mm barrel. And if his AEG came stock with a 363, then he almost definitely has a type 1. If the OP is dead set on getting the maximum length barrel he can get, I would recommend what's called an "M4 Plus" length inner barrel. It's around 420mm and works fine in a type 1 cylinder. Most good brands like Prommy or Madbull have them.

I actually believe the KWA KM4 series has a 393 barrel, but I'll check the gearbox tonight... I'm not wanting the longest barrel, I want a compromise of length, accuracy, range, and cost.

My G&P has a Type 0, and the few differences I can see are a bit more FPS, more range and it stays straight a bit longer. I actually really like it, and I do think that longer barrels help.

My g&p aswell has a type 0, I'm still only using 363, but I don't want to be forced to use a silencer to increase length.
