Hey Icarus, TM makes a good M3 Super 90 shotgun... shoots 3 bb's per shot, it's springer action, and shoots at 300fps. Maruzen also has a semi-auto M1100 shotgun that runs on green gas, not sure on the fps, but it'll run you about $100 more. I am getting ready to buy a TM M3 Super 90 full stock myself ;D. Hope I was of some kind of help - Grunt

I would rather have a gas gun, but upgradability is more important than anything.
You helped, so far I haven't found reveiws on many maruzen shotties =/

Hey Icarus, I found a review on the M1100 by Maruzen for ya Located Here: www.airsoftzone.com Go there, click on the gun database, scroll to the bottom, and on the left side click on the Remington 1100 shotgun. There are some stats and a review there. ;D - Grunt

None of the shotguns (gas or spring) offer much upgrade potential really. There are springs out now for the TM spring shotties, but the internals of those guns are mostly plastic so they probably wouldn't deal well with the added stresses. For the Maruzen shotties, you're pretty much limited to upgraded valves and maybe a metal body. The hi flow valves for the Maruzen shotguns have been documented to produce little results, and can even make the gun perform worse than with stock valves! There is lots of information on the Maruzen guns available, try looking around at AirsoftOhio, AirsoftPlayers, and AirsoftZone. Really though, the guns are best suited for CQB use, and don't really need upgrades to be effective in that regard.

Arnie's Airsoft (www.arniesairsoft.co.uk) has an extensive review of converting a Maruzen 870 for C02 use, which is really the best upgrade you can do do a shotgun, even though you dramtically shorten it's life.
