Hey guys I have an echo 1 M14 that when you pull the trigger back, nothing happens but manually pushing the connections together cycles the gun. How can I fix this?

Which "connections" are we talking about?

The trigger contacts. When you pull the trigger the two metal plates that touch.

Sounds like the left side of the trigger is broken.

So I should just buy a new trigger assembly?

If that is what is broken, yes. Since you're able to push the switch together manually, I assume you can get the gearbox out of the body. Can you get a picture of the left side of the gearbox/trigger?
