Here's the thing, Paul, we're not going to be the people drawing this gun down on somebody. you're the person toting it around. Go watch some action movies and find out what gun strikes you. Find a gun that you really love the looks of. Then find out if anybody makes a good airsoft version. If you love berreta's, for example, then find who makes the best airsoft beretta with in your price range. Same goes for anything else. There is no "best GBB", just like there is no "best AEG". You have to find gun that's suits you, and your needs, and your asthetic desires. We can't chose them for you. So pick a model that you think looks cool and then ask us (or better yet, search for the answers) if there is a good airsoft version, or what airsoft version suits your needs (i.e. some are better looking than they are shooting, some can put a whole in a car but look like hell, etc.)
You've listed two very different guns. The first, an SVI. This is a beauty of a gun. They're one of the more refined looking guns available. They offer top nothc accuracy and range. I believe the SVI series has the type-R valve, so they can be fired upside down. It's in the upper class of guns. For acctualy skirmish functionality, you can get a pretty small version (3.9 or 4.3), so it'll be easy to carry, easy to find holsters to fit, and all that. Even if you go with a 5 or 6 inch, it's a lot less bulky than the DE.
Now the DE, you have two options, the TM version or the KWC version. Either way, they're big guns. You'll have to find a large framed pistol specific holster for it. If you have a specific cross draw vest in mind, make sure you check to see if it'll fit before you buy it.
The TM will have a nicer over all apearence than the KWC, but that's the only area in which TM wins out. The TM version has pretty pathetic power and skirmish performance. So now we're left with the KWC. It has great power, or so i've read. I've heard reports of it chronoing above 350 fps. This can be a blessing and a disaster. If the group in which you play has a velocity limit by distance, than your sidearm could be relatively useless. What if your main gun is upgraded to 400 fps, and you have an engagement limit. You see an enemy within that limit, so you want to draw your side arm. But wait, your sidearm also has an engagement limit. You're screwed without a way to kill him. Side arms are meant to be used in short distances, this can't, without causing a bit of pain and damage on the recieving end.
