Well I have been researching fror a good M4 CQB, I have pretty much narrowed it down to models from KWA, G&P, and G&G. I am at a loss because they all seem pretty much identical. I have heard G&G's have wiring problems, KWA's sometimes have finicky internals, and G&P has been getting better internals as of late. Its so hard to get sold information when the web is filled with 12 year old reviews.
I guess I just would like to know what MIA's opinion is on the M4 CQB platforms offered by these companies.

I've gotten a little crazy on the G&Ps lately and purchased my G&P SR15 CQB brand new from Ehobby Asia back in Dec of 2010 and with the 8mm gearbox with the M120 high speeds my gun stock shoots around 400fps. So most likely if you purchase any newer G&P 8mm gearbox w M120 high speed motor you're going to have to drop a weaker spring in it.

You really aren't going to have to worry about KWA internals for the 350- fps you're going for. Although, I have seen with my SR10 and my friend's SR7, that things like motor height and some wiring in the pistol grip and buffer tube may need some adjusting. That only takes a few minutes, though. You also can't go wrong with G&G. Their quality is just as good as KWA as far as I have seen, maybe even more so for CQB because they come with lower tension springs. I don't have much experience with G&P so someone else will have to chime in there.

KWA and G&P are both solid companies, but g&g will come stock under 350, which meens no tinkering. And the combat machine line is only 130$ off of evike. They have nice trigger response which is key in cqb. I owned one and loved it. The polymer bodies they come with are very strong, and light weight. I like it more then a full metal body. And if you want something with a little flare, or an m4 smaller then the standard m4a1, then look as asgi's g4 line. They have a lot of different style m4's and all are combat machines internally.

I have had two Combat Machines, and I loved them, but mags really struggle to feed properly in them. That why I am looking at full metal high end weapons, like KWA and G&P.
EDIT- Trust me, I have tried every thing to get them to feed properly.

G&G mags, and MAG mags to my knowledge don't feed in G&P's. However pretty much every other brand does feed in G&P's. I just use all metal G&P mid caps in my G&P's. Which I have over 20 of. Yeah you pay more but they will last forever and feed excellently and in the long term have proven to be a worthy investment. I never have any feeding issues.

Well that is kind of unfortunate, I have like 20 MAG brand mids.

I have litterly had zero feeding problems, from g&g high caps, mag midcaps, CA high caps, and some cheap metal highcaps. Maybe I just got a lucky combat machine?

You can purchase the KWA CQB variant that comes stock shooting around 350. kwausa.com/products/aeg/km4cqb/or kwausa.com/products/aeg/km4-sr7-devgru/I use mag brand mid caps with no problem. I'm currently using a 10.8V battery ( full charge is about 12V. ) + Deans + SW-Computer and yeah ROF is frekin' stupid fast. I have noticed wear on the piston so if your going for longevity I would advise either a 15C LiPo or 9.6V battery.

I have seen some reviews on the internet also shooting a little over 350. I have no experience with the other KWA CQBR, though. If the OP has the time, the springs all drop down in the 350 fps range over time.

With the combat machine, or all g&g's in general you won't have to worry about being over 350. And if you're on a budget, no gun performs like a combat machine for the money.

Well, maybe I should clarify, under 350 does not really matter. I can easily change that. I just care about everything else. I really like the KWA SR7 right now. I have had my eye on that one for awhile.

Yeah, but not having to open the gearbox is nice. I would go SR7 swap the barrel for a prome (not EDGI), pick your favorite bucking and call it a day. Definitely recommend going LiPo. You can get chargers now that also balance (previously balancers were separate), and the extra space saved is totally worth it. If your freaked out about them, go here... infectedairsoft.wordpress.com/tech-info/lithium-polymer-batteries-part-1/ Go for a decent 2 cell if you want the gun to last or decent 3 cell if you want it to scream.
