I was wondering if a spring SCAR would be good for an upcoming CQB, or should I wait and get an AEG?

hey im a noob to airsoft and i was wondering if a spring scar would be good for an upcoming cqb, or should i wait and get an aeg? AEG most definitely! You'll be at a HUGE disadvantage with a springer. And do as Thor stated, use the modify button in the top right corner of your post.

Oh god, just wait until you can afford an aeg. Yea don't waste your time with a springer, you'll be sadly disappointed. You can get decent AEGs for CQB around $100-150 for a first-timer that will last you a while.

Please find your shift key. There's one located on either side of your keyboard, and it's handy for capitalizing letters, among other things.
I know, we're hammering this grammar thing. It's a rule that we hold all members to. It keeps the forums looking good, and as a result, keeps positive information flowing.
You should call the CQB facility and see if they rent guns. You might be able to get some trigger time in for cheap and try out an AEG to see how you like it.

The place I go to does rent, but I don't feel like paying the extra $15 for the rent.

Do you know what brand and model these AEGs are? You can a new battery no problem from just about anywhere (I like www.eliteairsoftbatteries.com, cheap prices on great packs). The other one, I'd like to know exactly what went wrong for all of the internals to fall out the back.

The one that I accidentally overcharged the battery for is a crosman R71, which uses what would be the magazine as the battery, and bbs are loaded from a hopper. The other one is an HFC mini g36 that the internal barrel came loose, so I was going to open it up without touching anything and when it opened, every thing fell out.

FYI, those are both Walmart LPEGs and probably can't be fixed, and definitely can't be upgraded. I was sadly into the "Backyard Battle" airsoft for a while, and I know that a broken gun is broken indefinitely.

I'm sorry. What I meant by "Walmart Gun" was that it was a low price, low quality gun. That Mini G36 is 150 FPS. It costs under $20. Just because you bought it online doesn't mean it's good.
