I am looking for a nice MOLLE plate carrier and don't want to break the bank this time. What do you guys suggest? While looking on evike, I saw this particular one, and thought it looked pretty nice. What do you think? It isn't very expensive. www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=34754

Thanks Knief, I get it now. Is there anything I should be looking for special out of those specified? What do you recommend I look for in one of those and that style of PCs?

It really depends on what your needs are. It would also help if we knew your budget. Do you have an absolute ceiling on what you can spend on a vest and pouches? And what all do you like to carry with out on the field. Be specific, how many mags, do you have a sidearm, and how many mags for that, do you carry gloves and only wear them sometimes, do you carry a kill rag, anything really.

I usually take -About 6 mags (I have 9 might want pouches for all just in case) and a dump pouch -Kill Rag for respawn games -Radio (sometimes)
And that's really it so far. I don't participate in any huge ops where I'd need a map or anything yet.
I'd like to spend under $80 for the vest, and maybe around $50 for pouches. I've found some nice pouches that I liked too that add up nicely with my budget and my equipment.

I'm heading to bed for the night, but I'll start scraping some links together in the morning. What about shipping, can that go over your budget? Do you need anything to carry hydration, or are you good without?

I should be good without hydration since I don't play in any long games yet. And shipping wasn't included in those limits.

I have a KWA SR10 right now, so definately M4 pouches. I like the look of the one Knife suggested in reply #7 the most, Just how it is flat and simple it is. Thanks guys, I appreciate it.

Callyourhits, seeing as you plan on running mainly mag pouches, have you looked into alternatives other than a plate carrier? A weesatch would be a good option. A full PC isn't entirely necessary for what you want to do. There's going to be a lot of unused MOLLE space if you decide to go with a PC, so some form of a chest rig would be a nice option. Look into an Eagle Industries Active Shooter Chest rig too. I have owned one, and they get the job done, and keeps it to the bare essentials. Not only will you get the good quality of Eagle Industries, but you will get better resell value, and a lighter rig. There is also open MOLLE on the sides of the Chest Rig so you can put on some pouches. Here is a link to one: www.skdtac.com/Eagle-LE-Active-Shooter-Chest-Rig-p/eag.670.htmThere are none in stock at the moment, but if you do some looking around I am sure you can find one.

That Chest Rig looks really nice. I chose to look at MOLLE rigs because I liked how much I can customize it. And from there I went to plate carriers because of the space, and the look. But that chest rig looks really nice! I'm going to research it a bit more, but what did you like or dislike in particular?
Thanks again, this is really helping.

I see Knief beat me to suggesting the RRV.
I can personally vouch for the Flyye RRV's, they're comfortable, lightweight and very durable- a steal for the price, honestly.
Ive been carrying 8 m4 style mags, silencer pouch, admin pouch, pistol mags, etc- plenty of molle webbing without a lot of bulky excess nylon to slow you down.

One of the great features of the RRV is that you can fold the bib down and you're left with what is essentially a full MOLLE chest rig with 4 rows of 16 PALS loops each. And then if you want to carry an admin pouch or some pistols mags higher up, you can pull the bib back out and use it. It makes it a little more versatile than the active shooter chest rig (which is a very nice chest rig). You can also put a back panel on the RRV and easily carry a hydration pouch.
