I consider myself a n00b when it comes to hop up stuff so... yeah... I have a couple questions.
1. My hopup on my E1 SCAR L seems to be totally messed up no matter what. The BB shoots about 10 yards and then shoots straight up, no matter where the hop up switch is at. Unless it the switch is all the way down... Then the BB shoots out 5 feet and hit the ground at around 100 FPS. What is wrong with the hop up and what should I replace? Suggestions on hop up replacement parts?
2. Do SCARs take M4 hop ups or any other type of replicas hop up type?
3. How are hop up buckings important? I mean, how can they increase accuracy?
Answers would be greatly appreciated. A big Thankya is out there in advance to anybody who helps.

I have a Dboys SCAR H that I think is an exact clone of the VFC. Also, I think that the E1 is a VFC clone, so the hopup should be the same. Mine came with a little tool to adjust a little rotating gear inside the bolt assembly. The tool is hidden in the front gas block. Turning it one direction will increase hopup, and vice versa. It's fairly touchy, so yours might be overadjusted. Or its just broken. I can't help you with the internals that much, though, because I still haven't taken apart my gun.
