I recently received M.S.-ARC's G36c in a trade with him yesterday. After returning home, I tested to see if the G36 mag fit into an M4/M16 mag pouch. It required two hands to, eventually, shove it into the pouch (from a standing position and holding the gun), and was too snug to quickly remove for a combat situation reload.
I've searched for MOLLE mag pouches, but, so far, to no avail. Not many retailers carry them in Ranger Green, or in any brands I'd recognize. I've also looked around at universal mag pouches, but they look rather large and unwieldy.
+1 to the first to successfully find a good MOLLE Ranger Green G36 mag pouch from a trusted retailer and brand.
Thanks!

To start off, the vest you have (for those who don't know, I'm the previous owner of his vest) is basically designed for the M4/M16 mag. And by that, only 1 M4/M16 mag will fit each pouch with ease. Even after I removed the elastic band around the mag pouches, fitting the second mag in the pouch was always harder, if not impossible. That being said, all standard (non-MOLLE) M4/M16 mag pouches will fit 1 G36 mag. A G36 mag is almost equivalent to 2 M4/M16 mags in width and size. Although you may have looked here already, this is the type of mag pouch you'll want: www.airsoftsmith.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=31_75&products_id=1378. Furthermore, there aren't any G36 specific mag pouches on the airsoft market to my knowledge. Another alternative you can look into is a G36 magwell converter so that you can use M4/M16 mags.

The Germans don't use MOLLE G36 pouches that I know of, or in any color other than Flecktarn. The only other ones I know of are the Tactical Tailor pouches. They are MALICE which will work with MOLLE. I don't think Tactical tailor makes them in Ranger Green though. Tactical tailor G36 double mag pouch.

7.62 Warsaw or NATO pouches are a good, and cheaper, alternative.

Couldn't find a Warsaw or NATO 7.62 pouch in ranger green, but thanks for the advice.
It looks like triple M4/M16 pouches (one pouch that holds three mags) are almost identical to the Tactical Tailor G36 pouch. I'll be looking into this some more.

A lot of folks cut the locking tabs off of the mags to help them fit in pouches a little better. It should also improve your ability to draw them quickly, since those tabs have a tendency to snag on everything. If you use them a lot, then that might not be the best option for you. But if you don't, then thinking about chopping them down.

A friend of mine uses standard AK pouches and he's able to fit two mags in each pouch if they are locked together. Personally, I don't care for the locking mags, so I would do what Knief suggested and just cut em off. Nothing worse than reaching for a mag and having it get stuck.

I honestly don't like the idea of chopping, cutting, or removing anything off that isn't absolutely useless or unnecessary. Especially if it has to do with my source of ammo, and I'm not very experienced with modifying anything in airsoft. I never thought of using an AK mag pouch before. Silly me. I'll look into those, since I know you can get them at Airsoft Smith in RG. I like the idea of clipping mags together, if that's what you mean. If it isn't could you explain?

My friend just had one of those cheap AK rigs with the sewn on pouches. There is a cloth divider in the middle of them, which you might need to cut out, but besides that they should work out fine. Granted, depending on which pouches you end up with, you may not get the same results. But, I know you will at least be able to fit one in with no problem and no issues removing it quickly.

You could also look into some of the HSGI "TACO" rifle pouches.
These pouches are adjustable for a wide variety of magazine widths. They are not inexpensive, but you should be able to get them in a wide variety of patterns.

A very unorthodox method for carrying mags... I like it. Problem is that it doesn't come in RG.
