Just curious, but are you actually a Special Forces qualified Colonel in the Army?

Looks like you're off to a great start! Much respect if you actually serve in the military but if you don't I'd recommend removing those patches.

Beings as you are 27, I HIGHLY doubt you are a full-bird Colonel. Captain, or maybe Major would be believable.

Thor, no I'm not special forces or in the army. But I had several friends that actually were, and are still.
xxyourselfxx, I haven't served in the military. My uncle has and it's more a dedication to him and my friends than anything. I wouldn't wear the actual patches in a game or in public.

Well then its cool to collect the patches I guess:) Do you have any other camo than ACU? If so that would be my next investment... Multicam seems to be all the rage these days.

Meh, I don't really see the need to be like EVERYONE else and get multicam, I like ACU and black or just all black.

Gear looks great...But the patches you are wearing...A NO GO.
I spent three years of my life overseas being wounded twice in combat (I was the only one out of 12 as a leader of a squad that was wounded...and I take great pride to that) to earn the rank I wear on my chest in the US Army.
Out of respect I ask you to remove the special forces tab and the Colonel rank you currently wear on your gear. Those men who "actually" wear it spend a year earning that piece of fabric with their blood, sweat, and tears. That Colonel rank you wear is a 20 year endeavor of the same with an officer giving his life in defense of this country to wear it...Most times sacrificing all of his time and livelihood to hold the creed of being a Colonel. To slap these badges on at a whim even in respect is not respect...all of us military guys do not respect it.
We appreciate you wanting to honor us and our service...but trust us you have all the chances in the world to wear it for real...and when you do you will earn our utmost respect for the rest of your life.
Thanks for listening, US Military Member

I thank you for your years of service usjtf, and like I said it's purely out of dedication to my friends and family that have and are serving currently. Also, like I said, I do not and would not wear them outside of my own home, I do take them off.

Also, like I said, I do not and would not wear them outside of my own home, I do take them off. Posting photos on a public forum is the same as publicly displaying (or wearing) them because we can all see them. I started off wearing a patch that I didn't earn either and like you, I did it out of respect but I quickly learned that those who actually earned it view that as very disrespectful so I quickly put an end to that.

Taken down, sorry if I offended anyone, it was not my intention.
