Hey Guys,
I recently discovered that the wiring for my VFC Scar had come undone. The problem is the fuse. I'm not familiar with the terms so excuse my ignorance, but the little prongs that hold the wire and squeezed shut and I can't find a way to pry them open. I want to get my gun up and running again, but since i cannot get the wire to connect and stay connected I come to you for help.
So I have a few questions;
1) Is the fuse necessary? The reason I ask this is because i feel as though I could easily remove the other end and splice the two back together and get the gun running?
2) What is the worst case risk if I do remove the fuse?
3) Should I try to get a new fuse replacement and just rewire?
4) How can I prevent from this happening again? The gun battery goes in the stock and with little room it is hard to not push and tug on the wires. Not a great design but non the less one I'm stuck with at this point.
Since I am new I have tried looking up videos on how to do some of these things, but I have not been able to find any.
Alex

The fuse is there to prevent the gearbox from heating up when it locks up and you keep pulling the trigger. If you remove the fuse, nothing bad will happen, you'll just need to remember if you gun stops firing, to NOT keep pulling the trigger. In short, pitch the fuse, it's not necessary.
