rdog, Please use proper spelling and grammar when posting here. That means capitalizing and punctuating correctly, writing in complete sentences and spelling words correctly. For failure to do so, I'm issuing you a warning. To learn about our warning system and how to avoid future warnings and a ban, please read the Forum Rules section before posting again. It would also be helpful for you to read the stickies at the top of every section. It would further behoove you to read this thread: miairsoft.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=newb&action=display&thread=18691Pay close attention to the section on sniping.

Study and learn the basics of airsoft by being a rifleman for a couple of year (I am currently in my 5th year of study). Learn the limitations of typical airsoft guns (gas, spring, electric) and what you can and can't do with those limitations.
When looking at rifles, do not buy a UTG, JG, WELL, Snow Wolf, CYMA, A&K, Super 9, and anything else in that price range.
Save a lot of money (start off with $1,000) and buy a quality sniper rifle like a maruzen, buy a quality ghillie suit, buy a quality scope, buy quality bb's. Learn how to assemble and disassemble a typical sniper rifle and in some cases you need to learn how to manufacture your own parts.
Study some more and learn to be satisfied with having to wait in one spot with very little to no movement before you even begin to see a target that you can engage.
If you still want to go this route, maybe in a few years you could be someone that people here will consider a "good" sniper.

DON'T BUY A GHILLIE!! Anyone who tells you to buy one has never needed one before. If you need help making one, let me know. By making one, you can customize it to suit your needs, your surroundings, and your style for less than half the price.

Telling me that you're working on grammar and posting what you did says to me that you need another warning.
For future reference, here's what your post should have looked like:
Thanks. I'm new to this site, so I will work on my grammar."

i want tips for how to become a good airsoft sniper Here's some advice for becoming a good "sniper": Don't become a sniper. Get yourself a good DMR platform or long type AEG, like an M16 or M14, for example. There are other options too. Airsoft is not Call of Duty, and don't get your expectations high thinking it will be like any video game. Airsoft sniper rifles aren't 100% accurate at all. Please take into consideration what everyone on these boards have suggested.
