Just the other day I finally received my new pistol's and my holster. Upon attempting to put on my leg holster I noticed that it kept sliding down. Im not quite sure if there are any tricks to this. I tightened it to a crazy point where I can barely put it on then slid my pistol into it and the extra magazines in the side pocket. But what happened was it still slid down. There were some extra buckles on it are those for something that might hold it up? Any tricks or tips to keep it on would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of drop leg did you buy? Are you attaching it to your belt?

You've gone and bought yourself a pretty shitty holster (why people trust their $100-$150 pistols to a $15 holster is beyond me), so you're always going to have some problems with slipping. But yes, you must attach the vertical strap to a stiff belt, generally a 2" web or duty belt, usually something like this: www.eagleindustries.com/product.php?productid=672&cat=76&page=1A basic leather belt, like the kind you wear with your jeans, will sag with the weight of a pistol. You need something more rigid that's designed to take the weight. Also, this is killing me. It's "drop leg," not "leg drop."
