In the not too distant future?..
As the U.S. economy crumbles, The dollar hits rock bottom, sending the U.S. markets to a grinding halt. The demand for a new world currency again lands to gold. With economic anarchy raging, Major U.S. corperations make the decision to Bail, taking their buisness to China and the E.U. As the government tries to salvage the situation, They put a hold on the Federal Reserve and all remaing U.S. gold depositories. This enrages corporate leaders who try to withdraw their economic assets along with their companies. T he government claims it as compensation for billions lent in bailout money. The corperations threaten international action and go to the United Nations for support. The U.N. ultimately decides that conflict with the U.S. is not within their best interest, and denies the corporate claim.
However the U.N. does agree to plead with the U.S. in finding a nonviolent resolution. Soon after talks break down and with niether side willing to budge for a realistic solution. Military action is threatened on both sides and the U.S. begins to fortify their gold facilities all the while the corperations band together and amass the largest PMC force ever assembled. These PMC's are hired to retrieve all corperate assets. With everything at stake the world can only sit by and watch as a massive shock and awe conflict is certain to unfold.

Objectives: Full objective sheets will be handed out to CO's on each side at the event *(hardcore players be ready for lots of running)

0-350 - Armslength
351-420 - 20 foot
421-500 - 50 foot
501-550 - Bolt action only
* Snipers are not allowed to engage "within" the city.
they can shoot from the city outwards or into the city from outside but not within, snipers must switch to their sidearms for close engagements.
* Everyone is subject to spot on chrono in the field at any time.
Medics: We will finally be bringing back medics to the S.F.O.D. field but we're unsure of which system we will use.
