@archrival: Is that... white Velcro? No. It was originally (supposedly) foliage green....but the helmet came to me as ACU. so that is the color of the Velcro.

So putting this damn Rhino arm broke the cheapo replica shroud. So I need a real one. Just don't want to dump $70 on something that is purely cosmetic... Anyone got a real OpsCore green shroud laying around?!

So here's my helmet collection at the moment. Top row: TC2000 with old school Wilcox Three Hole and Wilcox Arm. TC2000 with Norotos Three Hole and TATM arm Repro TC2001 with Wilcox L2 G05 and Arm SDS 2001 with Wilcox L2 G05 Ops Core Mass Grey Carbon - One of 500 made for the Navy SEALs Bottom Row: Ops Core Base Jump with First Spear Cover Protech Bump Helmet with Norotos Three hole Gentex TBH with ANVIS mount and LPBP The two 2000s on the top, the tan 2001, Mass Grey Carbon and Protech are all from SEALs. The First 2000 I added the Wilcox arm, but the old school Wilcox was already there. The other 2000 I added the Norotos and arm. The real 2001 I added the G05. The TBH with ANVIS stuff came from a guy outta Fort Irwin, I suspect from one of the SFGs. All the helmets are real besides the OD 2001, all accessories and NOD mounts are real as well.

Well, the mods might as well lock this thread cause it's not gonna get any better than that.

A good old 2001 with a wilcox l2g05 is easily one of my all time favorite setups. That is an awesome collection you have there, but with all of the nice mounts where are the NODs?

I've nearly pulled the trigger on a pair of ANVIS goggles in the last month or so a few times, but either the sellers end up being shady, bought out before I've confirmed they are what I want or they are missing a feature/spec I want. Ideally I'd get a pair of relatively 'cheap' PVS15s, but I don't think they've fallen to an area I'm comfortable with.
Definitely not done, I'd love to get an Airframe and Opscore Ballistic/Maritime. Just waiting until I can find a used one cheaper than retail. I don't actually like the AOR1 dipped airframe I've seen. I would not mind one getting one of the special AOR1 Ops Cores in the slightest though.

Agreed, the AOR airframe doesn't really look that great. IMO the airframe looks best with a setup that has a battery pack on the back, be it GPNVG, Anvis, etc, the steep slant of the back of the helmet just looks odd without something there.

Got a new shroud because the replica one on the helmet broke.
