This is probably not very much help but, I have a flyye mar ciras and I really love it. It seems like the stitching isn't going anytime soon and the vest is nice and rigid due to the included fake plates (might not be included with all vests). I am pretty new but I can tell I made the right choice. Get the flyye, it won't disappoint. Just my two cents.

In terms of replica gear, both FLYYE and Pantac are considered top notch. I've got a Phantom (Phantom switched to Pantac a few years ago, same stuff though) CIRAS and a Pantac RRV and both are excellent quality. I'd recommend either brand to somebody looking for a bump up in gear, but a bump down in price from the real thing. Though I haven't owned FLYYE, it's reputation is on par with Pantac's. I wouldn't second guess a FLYYE purchase either. The real question is, what style are you interested in? Does your current vest allow you to carry everything you need? Do you like it comfort wise? Do you like it aesthetically? The MBSS you linked to is pretty much the same design as the vest you already have. If that's working for you, then that's fine. But there are a lot of other options out there that you might want to consider. Also, for a good selection of Pantac gear, check out www.airsoftsmith.com.

To break Knief's advice down, take a look at your current rig and ask yourself: 1. Can I carry enough primary magazines to support my ammunition needs in the field? 2. Can I carry enough water to remain hydrated? 3. Can I carry enough loose ammunition, speed-loaders, spare batteries, tools, secondary magazines or other important items to meet my needs? 4. Can I carry a radio in a manner such that it can be used effectively? For a rig to be solid, you should be able to say "yes" to those questions. As far as suggestions, Knief has pointed out the two excellent replica gear-makers. You should also take the time to look at Tactical Tailor and ATS. Both of these companies offer solid gear, especially chest rigs, at reasonable prices. Also, if you're not too worried about being "modern" and don't mind switching away from plate carriers, ALICE equipment and older LBV-88 style rigs can hold quite a bit and are cheaper than dirt. As far as your current rig goes, you should first try to add some plates (cut up some cardboard or Walmart camp foam). The faux plates will add rigidity to the carrier and prevent it from being saggy. Keep in mind, if you do pay out for a nice new Pantac or Flyye MBSS, you'll undoubtedly find that the quality of the materials and stitching is much higher, but that without plates it is not going to be any more rigid than your current carrier. edit: Chaffin is selling a Flyye MBSS right now in the commerce section: miairsoft.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=commerce&action=display&thread=39864

The rig I currently use does everything I need. When I get a MAP it will be complete. It does what I need it to do. The reason for wanting something nicer would be for a more comfortable fit that seems to comes with higher quality gear. I could be wrong however. I saw Chaffin's, but I really like Multicam on OD or all Multicam. The CIRAS seems like abit to bulk for my needs plus I never really had an interest in tan gear. Thanks again guys.
