I recently purchased a Flyye Maritime CIRAS and I was wondering which military units have used the real version/ what else do I need to complete the loadout?

Do you have any pouches on it or are you starting with a clean slate?

Army Special Forces use Khaki Maritime Ciras vests.

I actually have the CB version of the vest and I have the pouch set that comes with it plus an extra double m4 pouch and a black hydro carrier. I will probably get a CB hydro carrier though.

No one really uses the CB MAR CIRAS. Marine Recon and other higher echelon units in Marine Special Operations are issue the FSBE kit, which contains a Land CIRAS in CB, among a billion-odd pouches in the same color.

I've seen pics of MSOB guys using CB MARCIRAS.

That's all right if nobody uses it now but, have any units used it in the past? Otherwise I could still use the vest and not put together a specific impression.

Nope, as far as I know there hasn't been a unit that has used a CB MAR CIRAS. Rel, the MSOB ones I've seen have been Khaki. Doesn't rule it out but as far as I know they weren't CB.

I feel like one of those little kids who buy a socom 16 only to find out that no one uses it.
I might just model my loadout after that but just use CB gear. I already have a black 1911 with those weird light tan grips on it like I have seen them with. My loadout may not be completely correct but it will look good. By the way thanks for the help everyone.

Joe found some pics and showed em to me a LONG time ago, but it was guys wearing MICH 2000s with MARCIRAS's and civilian clothes, and the color was way dark to be khaki from what I remember.

If you're trying to put together a perfect impression, then yeah, the color will be off and the ODA guys will give you shit for it. If you're just ballparkin' it, I wouldn't worry too much about whether you've got CB or Khaki. It won't be an impression per se, but if you're got the rest of the gear down, it will still look kick ass to anybody who hasn't spent years researching modern military loadouts.

I give my personal guarantee that if other than the color your loadout is otherwise kickass, I will not give you shit over buying a CB MARCIRAS. It could be worse: you could have bought a black one.
