I think I left my field bag at Bangor. It's small and black. Please let me know if you found one.

I thought the game went VERY well and was well organized. Even though I had a heat stroke, I still had fun and was listening in to my team's leadership channel as I waited to get back into the game. This was my first real MILSIM and I loved the Rules of Engagement effect to it; the game was a lot better with that aspect. The night game was pretty fun as well. Even though tan lost, I still think we put up a good fight .

I want to call this an almost perfect event.
From where I was the mods were doing their job and pretty much keeping right on the ball and Tex was able to troubleshoot and adapt as needed quickly and efficiently the few times it was needed. Having pretty much all experienced players on the field kept the discipline and focus level relatively high and allowed us to do the cool stuff like the night game.
I think we all agree that the heat was the primary if not sole factor that gave us trouble day and night. I myself have been suffering really bad from the heat this year and being out there this weekend took all my mental discipline to keep focused and regulated.
I'm still sore that i didn't go out for the night game. Turns out i had my frikkin battery on me but it was buried so deep in one of my bags I couldn't find it. We'll get another chance at Tailwind.
And I had not seen a legitimate injury in a while, but watching Dingo split his lip open was no joke and I would think that loosing a couple to the heat stands as solid proof to the severe conditions. So kudos to those of us who came out and more to those of us who were able to bear it all!
I'm just glad I was able to do my part to help on and off the field.

Well first off, the half of the game I was there for was pretty fun. A little slow though. And between bagging drugs (of which I'm not even sure what it was..) and being a field officer, I didn't actually fire a single round all day.
So I'm sure that everyone has their own story about their first encounter with the river. Well after a handful of years playing there, I finally have mine. I got three stiches in my lower lip after falling into the river and hitting my face on my M4. Props to Scooter for providing 2 x2 gauze pads after I went through all mine!
Anyway, thanks Tex for running a great milsim, and thanks Canto and gang for having us.. Piper- good shooting at your team as always! Sanbur- thanks for rolling with us. Lookin forward to seeing ya next time! Hellfish- great working with ya again!
Great seeing everyone and lookin forward to the next one!

Yo Dudes. All I have to say is that I agree that it was a near perfect event. There was no cheating that I seen, everyone was overzealous in calling their hits to the extent that I saw a few players almost arguing that they got hit instead of the other player and both called themselves out after the morally awesome standoff. I have nothing else to say It was my first official loss as a commander, and I am glad it was at the hands of onemanarmy and his green killers. Also, for the fact that the entire green side was full of experienced killers like black talon, hellfish, and other veterans didn't make my loss to hard to swallow. At least we can concede defeat by the hands of some of the best players in michigan. Texy - Great job on the scenario, planning, and all the kewl props and lighting you did. I likes the engagement rules which made it more realistic. I had a lot of fun, and I hope to avenge my loss in next years game. thanks again. Timm - Great work as well. I loved communicating with you all day on our objectives, and trying to pry information out of you to no avail. Great job on relaying messages, and getting them out as timely as possible. Canto - Not sure what you did, but you did it great. j/k. Good job on helping with the game. Nice seeing you again. Dingo- hope your face is better. We need to "Share" the field sometime soon, along with your crew. Onemanarmy - Great job commanding, and basically stealing the game with that last drug drop by yourself. The fact that I was in the building next to you and listened to you move from the building and into the darkness thinking it was my guys was awesome. Not to mention you did it solo. On a positive note, for the first time in a game, you didn't succeed to capture me or even attempt for that matter, and that makes for a good game. Knief and the fish - Great job, and I was hoping to get some trigger time actually against you guys, but alas...maybe next time. We also need to "share" the field soon. Maybe at an out of state event with us and black talon together. That'd be nice. I finally have to say that if nothing else, I loved the fact that I eliminated like 10 green players in the city at the very end of the game, and thought I had killed everyone only to find out that onemanarmy was left and I failed to take the city by myself. That would have been epic and awesome, but oh well. I was just proud that I can still be stealthy even though I always command and never get any trigger time in. Good times. Immortals - Great work. You heard it on our forum already. I think that with 90% of our team at this game being recruits, they did a great job and i'm proud of them. that's it. Sorry so long. Great game. We have pics too if anybody wants them. Just go to our forum and see them.

I had a great time at the event. Even though I mostly sat around because of the heat. I got some great trigger time in with my new beloved SR-25.
