Ya... that'll go well with your taste in XM8s... And for Pete's sake change those pouches!

That looks nice but you should get a kill flash and different mount for that Aimpoint. I think it would look much better. I've seen some good looking Larue mount replicas around the ACM sites.

It'll be fine. I just gotta make sure I tighten it better than it was last year. It's only a replica so I'm not too worried about losing it.

Confused as to why you have an AFG and a RVG on there? The RVG seems useless where it's at and just extra weight added to the front end.

It's a little trick I learned from some guy last year at Northern Light. When using the AFG I can be more steady and accurate when trying to hit a target at a longer distance, then when using the RVG in CQB it's much easier and slightly faster to manuever my gun around.

My Emerson Avengers JPC Arrived a day early If you could let me know what you think of your JPC(once you've fielded it), I'd really appreciate it! I've been looking into that JPC, thinking it would be lighter for my M4 loadout than my current hydration vest, which I would probably use for my future battle rifle loadout. I'm thinking high speed, low drag, and it doesn't get much better than this. One would argue that chest rigs are much lighter, but there's something I just don't like about 'em... [EDIT] That and I can get a MOLLE hydration carrier on the back of this, and most chest rigs only have crossed straps in the back.

Still looks wierd. I agree with snafu. Different mount for the aimpoint. Put a suppressor on there, remove either the AFG or VFG, put a CTR/MOE stock on ther and voila! nice replica.

Keeping the grips and the stock. I'm planning on getting a new optic altogether. Gonna remove the orange tip and rear sling tonight to replace with magpul sling and a suppressor.

That BB shield is redonkulous! Why not get rid of the AFG and move the RVG forward this way you could get the same two uses out of one grip?

I havent toyed around with it a whole lot. EDIT: Tried it. Feels a little weird cause I don't usually use vertical grips out that far on my gun. Might take some getting use to.

It's only a replica so I'm not too worried about losing it. Then why BB shield it. I got nothing against BB shields, but the two things completely contradict each other.

Well it's just on there for when my new optic gets here, which should be next week. And nevertheless it's good to protect your investments.
