I'd install a Lightning Banjo in it if you haven't already. The amount of tanks needed to keep an HPA support weapon going blows (for anything besides REC games that is). Since I got the Daytona back together...may as well take a few pictures; Daytona  HPA Family shot  |

Nah, one of the reasons is there's more sweat blood and tears poured into these two then I'd like to admit. Also my team currently already has a P* M249, and the only HPA Support trade I'd ever take (possibly) is a Daytona'd one. These things are plain awesome. There's easily close to $3k sitting right there. Man I gotta start investing into my other hobbies...

Scored these 2 pieces of kit recently. Managed to find the USMC FSBE reversible helmet cover with Norotos 3 hole shroud cut-out while randomly browsing ebay for Norotos stuff. Then found the PACA at M3 Surplus hidden between a wall and rack.  |

Picked up a couple goodies this weekend, all found locally at hobby stores and an Army Surplus store in Lansing. Picked up a Massif combat shirt, Bluewater Defense bottoms, Altama ripple style desert boots, a nice LiPo balance charger (since I hadn't picked one up since I've made the switch to LiPos 2+ years ago, haha) and a SightMark M-Spec reflex sight, to replace my 552 replica that crapped out on me. It's actually quite nice. Build quality is very good, feels well made and sturdy, and the reticule is much much more clearer than the 552 clone. I will admit it looks a little odd, but I can't even find the EOtech replicas onliine, they're discontinued everywhere. It'll take some getting used to, but functionality > looks. Doesn't look bad on my SCAR, but after being used to a 552 for so long, the reflex style just looks..... Backwards. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase and expect to see me on the field in the very near future. Just need a new comm setup and a couple MC pouches to replace my CB/tan ones and I'm good to go this season.      |

I haven't been in their recently, are the prices still fairly normal for Surplus stores or are their prices higher than they used to be?

Yep, Foxhole PX. Prices were pretty normal if not lower than what I expected. I spent a good hour and a half checking everything out. Lots of cool stuff. I don't remember the place having a rabbit pen the last time I was in there though... Was kind of odd.

I'll have to check it out sometime soon. It's kind of an out of the way trip but they usually have a good selection over there. Also, for Eotech replicas and other "not available in the US" items I use These guys (SNI tac) or the guy off of reddit (can't remember his name atm)... They've both got a good selection of optics going but SNI has all sorts of cool optics on it. |
