To all those other players more experienced and knowledgeable than I, I want to thank you for your patience as I've slowly learned about the sport, market, and technical functions in airsoft. It's been a few years and I'm just now realizing that I know enough to know that I don't know enough. To all those new players today, please head my warning and your life will be easier; You ARE NOOBS. It's ok. Just realize that. I'm embarrassed as I read through my old posts and find how arrogant and misguided I was to post and argue in topics I really had no clue. Please learn from my mistakes. If a mod or someone who has done this for years and years says you're wrong, YOU PROBABLY ARE! To those who tried to teach me and I didn't learn as fast as I should, I apologize.

No problem man. It takes a big person to admit when they were wrong. The important thing is you learned from it and kept going. Not everyone that comes here (or to any online community for that matter) does, and they quickly wear out their welcome.
Realizing that you know what you don't know is the quickest path to knowing all that you can know.

Yea I discovered Internet forums when I was 14 and I sure had a lot to learn. I posted some extremely lame things in my days. So yea don't feel alone, I am sure a lot of us have done the exact same things. I remember how I was back then and try to take that into account when dealing with anyone new.

I'm embarrassed as I read through my old posts and find how arrogant and misguided I was to post and argue in topics I really had no clue. Same here. My first 80 or so posts were like that. But since I'm a fast learner and take into account that I (being only 15 going on 16) don't know everything, I started to listen more than I spoke. And in turn, I've gained a lot of knowledge thanks to all the experienced members of MiA. To me, being a noob was just like starting at the bottom of everything else in life. The only way to go is up.

+1 for being so forward about it. That's how all men should solve problems. In my day I too have probably made a lot of n00by posts as well. You just learn when and what to post about. For example, somebody has a problem with a sniper rifle, I stay out of it. Not my thing, I realize that, and accept it. I hope a lot of people actually read this and take it to heart.

Let's not even bring up my engine gun... Haha, I forgot about that one... But I'm sure you learned, so it can stay forgotten.

I'm lucky; all traces of my n00bishness were swept away when they shut down the University of Michigan mainframe.

I also can't help but think that Zorak looks just like a young Clint Eastwood..

What I mean is you most likely look younger than Clint in your avatar picture.. Do you still go to the larger national events Zorak?

What I mean is you most likely look younger than Clint in your avatar picture... I just imagine Zorak as his avatar. In his other dimension with Hadoken. Apparently, to gain access to this dimension, you need a forum handle pertaining to cool things. Like Space Ghost Coast to Coast, or Street Fighter.
